Excellent product at an excellent price.

As you can see this wall cover comes handy when you want to hide wires. You can customize it to punch holes and can even paint it. Easy to use and no tools required to cut custom holes to pass wires.

This is a decent product, but there are 2 things I dislike. And I was using them in a boat, which might be more unique than typical home/garage installation (although my issues do apply as well).#1 - the box is angled, ie the back where it meets the wall is larger than the face. The 4 sides angle inwards for some cosmetic reason. The practical problem is if you were to attempt to install these where say a horizontal surface meets a wall (like say atop a countertop or work bench that is attached directly to a wall) - the little cosmetic twist makes it so there will be a funny gap underneath the box and you can't fasten it to a horizontal surface. Or similarly, if you put two of these next to eachother, there will be a funny angled gap between them since they are not a square box.#2 - the backside of these snaps into place, ie the box you see in the pictures is not one piece of plastic. I do not know why they do this, there isn't a reason to take the backside off when installing them. And the trouble is, if someone bumps into this box and unsnaps the backside (which is how you mount it to the wall) the other part of the box along w/ the outlet is going to be dangling with exposed wires.

Worked as described and allowed me to install an updated outlet with a USB-C connection.

I had a sensor light switch installed in my closet. It worked ok, but I really needed to go into the closet for it to 'see' me. I thought it would work better if the light sensor was a few inches away from the door molding. I purchased this product to move the sensor away from the wall and it worked just fine. I am now 'noticed' more quickly when I enter the closet. As far as 'How was the item'. I would say it did what I needed it to do, however, it was a bit flimsy and bit difficult to install. I never touch the wall switch anymore because it senses me and turns on and off. If I had to handle the switch on a daily basis, I think it would eventually fall of the wall.
