It will not shut off no matter how dry the sensor is. It's been going all night; how do I get it to shut off?

Hello. I had this same issue with mine. I removed the 4 screws on the bottom (on the outer ends), which split the toy in half. I discovered the insides were all wet, but the seals looked fine. I'm not sure what happened, maybe the seals around the motor failed? Either way, there is no way to disconnect the battery. Everything is soldered together (some use a gel resin of some sort). I pulled the power wire where the battery connects to the main circuitboard. It finally turned off. Not sure if I'm going to try and fix it, but the water sensor board looks.. dirty? The contact points have black on them. Not sure why. I hope this helps you, and the next person who has this issue.
