No heat
For a 2005 pontiac g6 gt factory settings is 195 degrees. Thought I'd be fine at 180... wrong. It opens at 180 cools to about 160 no heat except right before it opens. Love the fail safe idea just won't work for me.

Fast safe shipping, easy install, and happy with the results to drop the operating temperature of my vehicle. LV Nev. reached 122° which brought high temperatures operating my vehicle.I’m pleased to say this thermostat dropped the temperature to a lower degree. In heavy traffic, coolant temperatures can double and that is no longer a concern.

Not worth it
Installed this in my 06 Pontiac torrent thought I could rely on this part because it's a pain in the but th replace on that model of vehicle but car started over heating shortly after Installed a Walmart thermostat no problem since

Love the fail safe
Great because it keeps your vehicle from blowing your head gasket. Fail safe opens up and let's your coolant flow no matter what. Highly recommend.
