I got this to keep the warm air inside our home and to also prevent the smell of cigarette smoke from seeping into our front door area. A neighbor often smokes outside, and with my sensitive sense of smell I can often smell cigarette smoke seeping in. The door stop is weighted on the bottom so when you put it along the door, be sure that it is on the bottom to create a good seal. It isn't airtight, but enough to prevent cold air and smells from entering. We use it year round and are very happy with it! It also came with some adhesive but we use it without it. This can also be conceivably used if you dorm or live in a house with shared roommates and don't want any smells entering your room. It works well and the door still opens easily with it in place.

Ordered these for the winter. Our rental has a sliding glass door that is extremely drafty, as well as many of the windows. Used this last winter and helped w the electric bill considerably..

Had a draft under my Livingroom door. I work at home near that door. Tried this. Having a little issue with the adhesive strip but it’s nothing major. Keeps draft out.

We live in an old farmhouse, so crafty doors or something we deal with all the time. This one in my kitchen is particularly bad. I really like how this door draft Velcro to the door so that it stays on whenever you open and close the door.

Perfect to stop drafts

Purchased this for our front door, but unfortunately, it is not heavy enough really to block any wind that might come under the front door so we changed the product and use it as an additional blocking to our sliding glass door for a deck

Soft enough to fit front door and slider. Good quality. Heavy duty but pliable to fit door threshold. I would order these again if needed.
