Q: Is it gold or silver hardware?

The Light Pink and Pink Blue Rainbow both had gold-tone hardware. It's a pale gold, not a brassy gold. These purses are VERY nice ones. There is a smaller version someone makes, but I've seen it, and it is too small. This is just the right size for my granddaughters age 8 and 6. They are roomy and very practical. I will say that the Light Pink was a bit of a disappointment for the 8-year-old initially. She LOVED the sparkly Rainbow one I got her sister. I thought she might like a more grownup purse, but she initially didn't. We all think it is beautiful and more sophisticated, not as young looking. Since then, se says she loves it. But, the Rainbow one is truly very, very pretty.

My granddaughter has used this for a year! So far so good! She is a girly girl and is not at all rough with her toys!
