You may mix it with food and/or water; this is what I did.

Q: does it come in a sealed container

Yes. Our product came sealed with a glued, plastic seal which you pull off of the opening of the container once you remove the lid.

From the label Active Ingredients per 3 gram Pill:Pumpkin Seed: 125mgRehmannia: 125mgWild Yam Rood: 125mgOregon Grape Root: 25mgMarshmallow Root: 25mgCranberry Extract: 25mgVitamin C (Ascorbic Acid): 25mgI don't know molecules all those seeds and roots break down into or contain after digestion. I do know that the pills makes my bitch able to hold her bladder. No more soiled tile clean ups, 5 times a day. It works for us.

This product has Oregon Grape Root in it which is NOT a grape but a plant root.According to Web M.D.: "Oregon grape is a plant.
