you can buy these from a bunch of places, they had the best price, got them quik, and they work as they should

They give good results but i dont like the mess of carrying oil in my tool box.Still. hive beetles have to be fought before they overwhelm a hive.Using peppermint patties also.. at times they seem to be most effective, but the traps are a good tipoff when you have a problem.

Simple enough product and worked as intended after a little tweaking. Upon arrival, the black plastic 'top' was slightly warped on a few which kept them from sitting fully flat on top of the frames. I just rubbed a little propolis on the top of the frames where I wanted to position them which then allowed me to 'glue' them down flat. The good & bad news is after 3 weeks, I had not caught 1 beetle in 8 traps on 2 hives. So... I can't really say they that they catch beetles I'd like to think that's because the hives don't have any???

Light weight blow molded plastic but really they should work well for catching hive beatles. They held the olive oil all summer and no Beatles where in any of the 3 traps I had in 3 hives so either I am lucky or.....They are a bit of a tight fit to get between the outside frame and wall. Will try them again next summer

These work great for collecting hive beetles. Once they are full, just throw them away
