Definite Shortcoming
This is a nice unit at a great price. But it has one MAJOR flaw - Even though there are 4 male XLR returns on the box, there are only TWO QLR female returns on the fantail!! WTF? This makes no sense, and leaves me using 1/4 returns for my monitor feeds. REALLY wish I had seen this before purchasing. A big, dumb flaw that otherwise would have made this a perfect snake. NOBODY likes using 1/4 returns for their monitor systems and IMO no snake has any business using 1/4 connectors for anything. If someone by chance has something that needs a 1/4 feed, there are plenty of adaptors available on the market.

It was an easy fix but not what I would have expected after ...
This is a life saver and what I needed when I had to support a larger venue that what I was accustom to. Saves a lot of time in just running one main cable instead of many the 100' distance. Only issue I had was the screws started coming out of the connectors mounted in the box. It was an easy fix but not what I would have expected after only a couple of months of use. Other than that the quality seems to be holding up.Updated: After using this for almost a year I am still pleased. I did have to open the connector box and replace many of the screws that held the XLR connectors on as they had fallen out. My advise Seismic to use Loctite so the nuts don't spin off during use or around vibration. The four 1/4 send connectors are made of plastic parts. I have had one break so that the whole connector falls out. It will have to be replaced. So opinion on durability is so so. I have to pull this out once a week and would expect these issues not to occur if the snake was to be left in place. Mark it down to wear and tear I suppose.

Holding up good so far
Been using the snake for 2 months. Holding up good so far, using it almost every weekend. Only problem I've had is with the stage box on arrival. 25% of the XLR and 1/4" jacks were loose or totally falling out of the metal enclosure. There are two small screws and nuts that secure each jack to the metal box and a bunch of the nuts had fallen off and screws were missing. I had to take the metal box apart to try and find all the missing nuts since they are on the inside of the box. Very poor quality control prior to shipping. They need to add lock-tite thread sealant to prevent this from happening or coming loose during shipping.Other than that the quality of the connectors and enclosure seem decent. Time will tell how it holds up over the long haul. The female jacks in the stage box fit snug so there is no worry of cords falling out.

Not bad, works as it should, only a few small issues
Not bad, does what it's supposed to do. Only issue is the numbering of the channels is under the XLR input which make it confusing at times when the numbers SHOULD BE labeled in TOP of the corresponding input. What's weird is the lettered 1/4 input channels ARE labeled on top of the input. The metal strain relief is a bit wonky and slides loose some times. Just tape it in place. The channel mislabeling thing must be an eastern Asian thing they do, not here in the U.S.
