This scale has everything my previous scale doesn’t have!First it can be operated solely on AC power and it won’t turn off automatically! Which is an huge plus! This will save lots of time for a long shipping day. If operates on battery it only needs AA batteries, instead of the 9v batteries many scale uses.Secondly, the display is big and bright! Also can be set to an angle for easy readability.Last but not least, it has solid build quality and contemporary design.I’m a very happy customer!

I always need to check some heavy cases at the airport and this allows me to know if it's going to be over or not so I'm not surprised when I get to the terminal. I'm not sure how really accurate it is, whether it's off by a few fractions of a pound or not. But I don't need it for that purpose and for what it is, it's great for me to weigh Pelican cases like the 1607 and 1615 since the scale surface area is large enough for me to rest it on top. Haven't tested the battery function since I've always had it plugged into the wall.

I use this every day to weigh garage doors fornmy work. Great for large doors weighing over 600lbs. Steel finish, easy to turn on and off. I can toss in the back of my work van with my tools and don't have to worry about it
