one of the best pens ever made
these used to be my holy grail pens until i discovered the pilot v10 1.0. i've been using these pens for about 5 years now, and they were always the first one i'd grab when i needed a pen. my husband would always steal them from me. the ink is so smooth, dense, and juicy. if you're a lefty i would probably not recommend it, as it takes a minute to dry, but i've never had an issue with the ink smearing. it also doesn't bleed through paper. they seem to last forever before running out of ink. i have purchased maybe 2-3 packs in the last 5 years and that's mainly because i lose them...or someone in my family steals them lol. the only thing i don't like about these pens is the removable lid. i wish the tip was retractable. although i have a new holy grail, these will always be in my top 5. GET PENS!! hopefully uniball doesn't ever discontinue them bc then i will have an existential crisis.

Amazing pens, and eco-friendly if you refill which is super easy!
I bought these specifically so that I could refill them with waterproof fountain pen ink for sketching, and for a special ink I use at work to write on leather with. I'm primarily a fountain pen user, which has really emboldened me to demand more from other writing utensils--especially in being eco-friendly. There is absolutely no need for disposable plastic pens anymore, except for the fact that companies make it difficult if not impossible to refill the pens. These are super sturdy, the roller ball writes amazingly well at almost any angle, and better yet, they are easy to disassemble and the cartridge inside is perfect for refilling from bottled ink! My only regret is that the box of 12 I bought will probably last me 20-30 years. I'm not even joking. I've even given several away to family members and taken some to work to leave about with explicit instructions to get them back to me when they're empty. I really hope Uni-ball continues to make these pens, and I will recommend them to everyone. It would be even more fantastic if a big company like Uni-ball came out with a product like these pens sold with a bottle of ink (their own if they like), easy instructions, and specifically marketed them as an environmentally conscious pen product. The more "mainstream" refilling pens becomes the better for the planet!

Last pen you’ll ever use
I’m a pen snob, these are hands down the best pens I’ve ever used. You get the feel of a wonderful fountain pen with the reliability of a good ball point. Very smooth and clean writing. Only down side is it takes a little longer to dry without smears.

If I could have only one pen for the rest of my life!
This would be it. It’s the perfect trifecta of smooth writing, bold ink and no hand fatigue when you’re doing a lot of writing. It’s my hands down favorite for mass produced pens.

New favorite pens!
probably my new favorite pens! it writes like sharpie or a felt tip pen without bleeding through the paper and drys pretty quickly... im a waiter and i pass these out with the bill, people always compliment them and sometimes (annoyingly) take them. I do wish they dried even quicker than they do because if your not careful you can smudge immediately after you write - which i havent found to be a huge problem unless people are really messy with how they write or left handed, but it usually dries within seconds

Do not buy!!!
Awful. All pens were skipping ink right out of the box. I would give these pens 0 stars. Ink flow is so uneven and ugly. Probably worst pen I've ever purchased lol. Uniball 207 plus are waaaaayyyy better.

Very Nice, Expressive Pen. Not for Everyone
I use a pen a lot in the course of my professional life and consider myself a bit of a pen fanatic. These are my very favorite disposable pens hands down. They make a very very smooth, expressive, bold, almost fountain pen like line with normal pressure but can also be used to make very precise fine lines under light pressure. These are the only pens I use when I notarize documents as they use forgery resistant ink, make a very distinct, hard to reproduce line that saturates the paper (not just sits on top) and can still be used to fill in very small spaces. I also do quite a bit of drawing in my free time and the variety of line quality you can get out of this single pen is very impressive. I don't find myself writing or drawing at odd angles very often but have had no issues writing on vertical or incline surfacesJust don't drop or bump the pens point or you are done. The points of these are plastic and just one moderate drop or bump and the tip is unusable. However the plastic tips will last well beyond the life of the ink as long as cared for. I mention this because if a pen still has a good tip when it runs out of ink I usually keep it around to trade out if I drop a working pen. Despite the warning inside the pen to not remove the ink reservoir, with a careful bit of direct, controlled pressure it will pop straight out of the tip. This way if you do ruin a tip you can just transfer the ink to one of the old functional tips and just trash the damaged tip. The reservoir will pop right back into the working tip and will keep writing like new. This trick has worked fine every time and I have never had one leak or fail to draw ink. I go though pens fast and I have one tip that has seen probably 3 pens worth of ink and is still going strong.

Smooth writing!
It took me a little bit to get used to these pens because they are just so different but now they are my absolute favorite pen to write with and I’m a bit of a pen snob. Price could be better but that aside, these are now my go-to pens! Rating is for product not price. Bought directly from Amazon.
