They fit perfectly between my brackets and were easy to load. Had my braces for 2 years and never broke a bracket or a fish. Brought them with me to my dentist for my regular cleanings and my hygienist loved them so much she bought some to use on other patients. (Cheap enough for single patient use)

As a hygienist and patient in braces, I like to try new products that help me to floss and that I can recommend to my patients. I found this product to be a little less easy to use than other products I have tried. It is nice that you can reuse the “fish” more than once so that you don’t have to buy so many and it reduces waste. However I found it tricky to use when maneuvering in areas where teeth are crowded. I think this would be easy for patients that are not flossing in crowded areas and just using in areas that gaps are being closed or opened.

FlossFish is a fantastic product for cleaning the teeth of people who use an orthodontic appliance. I had a little trouble learning how to clean between the molars and between the premolars, but from the third day of use I was able to clean all the teeth. Using FlossFish saves me time when cleaning my teeth!

1. To thread the floss into the “fish”, the hole is so small that you almost need a needle threader!2. Because of the thickness of the plastic of the “fish”, it’s totally worthless for (most) braces!!! (I was able to use it in a FEW areas - the areas that don’t really need to be fixed by my braces.)3. They are SO tiny, the floss slips out from the “fish” very easily, even with floss looped around the tail of it.Total waste of money!

I am a Dental Hygienist with braces. These are a great idea, but very hard on the gums. I find that the plastic is very abrasive against my gums when using. I tried these when ortho gum chucks were unavailable, and discontinued use because of how difficult they were to use.

This has made it soooo much easier to floss with my braces. Fits between each bracket easily. Although I wish there was a way to anchor the floss on the flossfish, it still works great.
