High quality fan that pushes a ton of air at you more quietly than you would expect
I needed to replace a 15 year old Rowenta that died suddenly last summer, and picked up a random £40'ish model instead of buying a Rowenta, and I paid for it. Buy cheap, buy twice. Or buy several times if you're like my partner who scoffs at fans costing more than £25.Thanks to this Rowenta she has seen the light. This fan is practically silent on the first two programs. You begin to hear it at program three, but the tradeoff is a lot of wind is being generated. Programs four and five are believably louder, but it is still a much quieter fan than any other of my current pedestal fans, of which I have three others (I resemble a sausage and am always warm, so the fans are always running). This Rowenta far exceeds my previous model in the design and technology, and I suspect it pushes more aire too. I am slightly saddened to see they have not updated the remote control that much, as it desperately needs back-lit buttons because in low light situations it is practically useless. You get what you pay for has never been more accurate with regards to this fan. It is a brilliant fan, with a very high quality finish that should last for years. I have been using it daily since May 2022 and I continually marvel at just how nice this fan is compared to others I have owned. It ieven feels like a much higher quality and more robust fan than my last Rowenta.I am not sure I will ever buy another brand of pedestal fan. I love the way the Dyson bladeless fans look, but I am not sure I could ever justify spending upwards of £500 on a fan when this one works so well and has such premium build quality.

Best fan ever
I have had soo many pedestal fans over the last 25 years, and this is easily the best one.Unlike the typical fan that you might buy in the local supermarket during the ‘fan rush’ of summer .. this Rowenta fan is extremely well made and of top quality. It’s super easy to assemble, and has all the features you need - various speeds, oscillation, and timer mode that turns off after a certain time.It is also (by far) the quietest fan I’ve ever had - it is literally whisper quiet in ‘natural breeze’ mode, and you can’t hear it. The breeze is very gentle and is perfect for those times when ‘still motionless air’ is something you want to get away from.In my opinion, you can not fault this fan in any way, for what it is meant for.The only point against is the weight - due to its quality and material construction, it’s quite heavy and might be a challenge for some people when moving it (for example.. to a different room).Weight aside - if you want a pedestal fan, this is without a doubt, the one to get!

Fantastic, Sturdy and Very Very Quiet
We got this at a discount for around £55. At this price it's hard to beat. The quality of the fan is really excellent - very sturdy and well made. It has multiple settings from 'you pretty much can't tell that it is on soundwise' (though even at this low setting it does cool fairly well), to 'blow all the papers off the desk' mode (which is still fairly quiet). My partner put this together and says it was fairly straightforward - there was only 1 screw for which you need a Phillips screwdriver.Has lots of settings, including a sleep mode. This is really a great fan - made such a difference when it was baking hot.

Expensive, quiet, and some minor QC issues
First of all, I would like to say how well packaged this product is. There is no cheap styrofoam which gets everywhere, it uses high quality foam and cardboard. Now onto the fan itself. It was very easy to assemble, had no issues whatsoever setting it up.I did realise there is a slight issue with the piece of plastic in the middle of the fan where the logo is, it is slightly popping out on one side, but very very minor that I don't really mind. The remote control is working flawlessly for me. Just wish they included the timer, natural, and decrescendo modes to be controlled in the touch panel (they are only status indicators, would have been nice to make them touch controlled as well). The fan pushes a lot of air, I can easily feel the air circulating in my room when directed at the wall. On level 1 and 2, it's pretty much inaudible to me. On level 3, there is a rumbling sound coming from the motor (Which I assume is normal as I've had plenty of fans where a specific level would cause some sort of loud vibration noise). On level 4 and 5, the rumble is less apparent but you can hear the propeller pushing a lot of air through (like a whooshing noise, but that's expected on all fans).I am quite happy with the noise and air performance of this fan. However, for a fan that costs £120.99, I would expect QC to be better. It's too hot for me to be bothered about these (what I think are) minor issues.

Many features in one product, excellent
Now ready for the hot weather! Words would be helpful on instructions to put together, but managed it. A bit of a problem with the actual plug into the wall, but hubby took a look and sorted it. Remote control is a great asset and it is barely heard on the lowest mode and really blowy on the highest mode, the only thing I would have liked would be a longer cable to the socket. I'm having to use an extension and that's less safe than a longer cable.

Honestly so good, had dysons in the past and the quality of this is fantastic. V quiet too
Didn’t expect the fan to be such good quality. It’s incredibly quiet and very effective. Only thing I would say (and doesn’t really affect me) is the light on the fan doesn’t go off over time, I.e. the little LED at night suddenly becomes a bit bright. Doesn’t affect me and if you didn’t like I’m sure a tiny piece of tape could sort. Controller neatly fits in back of fan for storage with magnets, fan cage is made from a high quality metal that is thick enough not to flex. Very pleased. Had dysons in the past and would say it’s actually quieter and due to size, more effective. Would recommend.
