I walk every day and this completely protects my face, neck, upper back and even most of my shoulders. Having a hat on definitely adds heat though, I've been sweating more. The face shield is pretty snug too, it would be great if it had a little more room. But overall it does what I got it to do - - be a sun screen and the face shield is nice in this quasi-covid time.

I have a huge head. 25 inch circumference. I can't ever find hats to fit me but this one does! I have many autoimmune disorders and am basically allergic to the sun. The bill is huge and actually shades my whole face plus the neck covering protects the back of my neck. I just love how the hat disassembles so I can use it however I want.

Do I get weird looks while wearing this? Yes. However, this hat gives me extra protection for my fair skin and red hair. I get frequent chemical peels and use retinol- so protecting my skin overrules any self consciousness lol! However, the detachable veil material still lets small amount of light in- I would still recommend wearing SPF. I used this on a recent trip to Florida where I literally spent 2 full days on the beach. Husband got tan, but I didn't!

Wore it at resort in Mexico. Nice to have several options of coverage. It worked well in many places: beach walking, by the pool, shopping. I liked it a lot and recommend it for face covering in the sun. I’m not sure it was sun block material. I hope it is.

I ordered three styles of hats and this one is my favorite. I love the wide brim, and the face sun guard has a slit so I can breathe more easily! Adjustable, with lots of coverage to prevent sun damage.

I'm happy with the purchase. It meets my basic requirements for an everyday walking sun hat. I especially like the big brim which block most the sun first my face as well. I also like the 360 degrees coverage for my face and neck.

This hat is wonderful! I have a somewhat small face and head, and it fit perfectly. It's adjustable around the head so that does help. It does take a minute to figure out how to snap all parts of the hat together, but it's not too difficult. It can also be a little difficult to zip the top of the hat back to the visor (as there is limited space for the zipper to be connected). Overall, even though I have only tried this hat on and not worn it for a long period of time, I still love this hat and how customizable it is!

Full coverage, i dont wear with the face shield as its more than enough coverag for me with sunscreen on, but great to have if i ever wanted to. All the features and functionality when i look for a hat. The most full coverage one ive seen yet(even just the hat part)! I got grey and navy blue, i love the grey and i ordered a purple/lavender one just now from amazon.com. Only thing is if i get a few funny looks cuz i look like a girl with a bonnet lmao, but idc, id rather not have sun damage even tho its the social norm. I was the only one that didnt get my face burnt during all our summer lake trips so far this year out of my family and friends because of this hat!

UPDATE: Zipper broke after second use. The zipper is plastic and very cheap, which is okay, but the end of the zipper that keeps the two strands together fall out. I managed to repair it once, but the quality is such that it will easily fall apart again because the clasp doesn’t hold both strands in properly. Super disappointing. This will probably end up being a placeholder visor for when a better hat ships.Pros:- Thick fabric for the visor “beak” and also for the front and back covers. The fabric at the top of the head is quite a bit thinner, but I don’t find that unpleasant because it prevents the hat from being too stuffy.- Foldable, easy to put on/take of front and back covers.Cons:- HUGE con for me is that the colour is nothing like the displayed image. I really loved the colour in the photo. Unfortunately, this hat is a yellow and darker khaki. Really a shame, because otherwise this product would have been much much better.- It still looks weird in the city, even without the front and back covering. I bought this instead of a big sun hat because I thought it would maximize protection without being too odd, but the wide rim makes me look super suspicious but pretty funny…- Velcro closing snags my hair.Overall:I was very very worried that the hat wasn’t tall enough (photos indicate 10 cm hat height) for my head because I have a big head. However, this wasn’t a huge issue for me because I wear this hat tilted to the front so it covers more of my face and I found that it is deep enough. Unfortunately, if I wanted to put my hair through the hole in the back, the hat is too shallow and falls off my head when the wind blows. The neck strap doesn’t really help and I don’t like using it because it’s strange. This hat would be great for outdoors but maybe not for daily use/in the city.

Disliked the smell of the face cover part--smelled like someone else had used it. No matter, I loved the hat so much I bought 3 of them ... 2 for myself and one as a gift. The back part of the hat is sufficiently long to cover your shoulders. The hat uses snap buttons instead of velcro (like those in cheaper hats). I love the removable top ... Keeps you cooler in my opinion

I bought it 3 months ago and only use it occasionally. The back strip teared off. Very disappointed and wish they could do something about it. But not sure how to contact the seller.
