Smells great, rinses off quick, and doesn't leave a residue on your skin like regular bar soap. My bar is 4 weeks old, and it's down to about 1/2 thick, on 7-10 showers a week. Great stuff!

When you open the box, the scent of pine explodes into the room. You are transported to a rich forest surrounded by evergreens, sap drips down onto you in the thickest, richest lather you have ever seen. The bar of soap fills your entire hand as you guide it across your body. You rinse in a quiet storm that leaves you refreshed and ready to tackle the day or relaxed and ready for bed.Pros:-Thickest lather I have ever seen, it's almost a paste.-Rich scent that permeates the very fiber of your being.-The bar of soap fills your hand but is not cumbersome.Cons:-You accidentally smell like Christmas.

We are a little PICKY about soap here. SO many are mediocre - don't clean well, leave residue or sticky feeling, melt fast, make skin itchy, smell strong and BAD etc etc. This soap is GREAT as far as all of that goes. Really nice and yes a giant bar. I almost cut it in half! Only complaint is that the very pleasant fresh pine scent is just too weak. We bought it (as a treat!) specifically FOR that pine scent we've been craving - and while the scent is really good - I would have liked it to be ... maybe 75% stronger. Mostly it just smells ... faintly like good clean soap.
