My pet rats had one of these and loved it so much that it was wearing out (since rats chew on anything and everything), so I bought them another. It is rather large, and easily allows for “rat piles” of three-plus adult rats. The material holds up well in the wash, and it is soft and well-crafted. The only detraction (for me) is the set of chains meant to hang it in a cage: the chains are nice, and the grommets are sturdy and well-positioned, but my rats don’t like the way the chains allow the hut to swing. My rats seem to prefer more stability, so I kept the chains for other items and instead used a single metal shower curtain hook in each grommet as hangers. This does make the hut more stable but also keeps it from hanging down as far. Depending on the set-up of the cage and the temperament of your pets, you might want to use different hooks or hangers. That is another plus, though: because the included chain hangers are removable, you can easily modify how this attaches to the cage. Overall, it’s a nice product and a cozy snuggle spot for little critters.

Great new bed for my 3 rats! It hangs low enough to the bottom of the cage so they can jump in without a ladder and it is very soft and sturdy so it’ll be a while before they destroy it like their other fabric toys! My only issue is that it’s a little lightweight so it moves around a lot when they are in it, but that could probably be fixed by hanging it another way. Maybe it’s just me, but pushing the metal rings into the other rings to hang it was kind of difficult as well, and I’m definitely not doing it again to put it in the wash, hence the 3 stars on easy to clean. Otherwise it is a very nice bed and I would recommend it to small pet owners! P.S: the cage looks bare in the pictures because I’m doing a cleaning right now, but I promise they have fabric bedding and toys in there! :)
