Q: Where is this item made / manufactured?

I already discarded the wrapper but the Amazon site description says the country of origin is China.

The twist cap should stay locked until you twist it again to unlock. If not sounds like you received a defective one, regrettably.

The name on this whisk is twist and should be self explanatory .

It was wide, but I gave it away because I couldn't grip it to stay in position.
