Can these be used for snow hiking?

Depends. I would not use for long very cold hikes; however, walking on snow isn't always very cold. I've crossed snowfields and glaciers in Wyoming in these in the summer and they were perfect. The higher air temperature compensated. The cold comes in from the uppers, not from below. But using these when clearing snow off my driveway in 20f temps left my feet really chilly after 45 minutes. This lighter insulation works nicely in the summer because they are relatively cool for waterproof backpacking boots when out on a hot day.

Hi. Why are the size 10's 154.45 &""the size 10.5's 229.95? Is there a difference in shoes?

No the shoes should be the same. If I were to guess the price difference is because of supply and demand.

Worth for long hikes, a travel companion

It is true to size unlike other Salomon models which runs narrow. It has great cushioning and provides ample ankle support for longer duration. The laces are long enough to tie and comfortable to walk. It is not recommended for daily use but can be worn for bike rides, 3-5 days trips, trekking and hiking. Not recommended for sunny days as the feet runs hot after an hour due to 6” shaft height, no place vent the heat. Definitely worth the price and catch everyone’s eyes during outings.

Best value for money

Waterproofing is very good. Shoes are lightweight yet sturdy. The sole is very comfortable. This shoe can be slippery on wet rocks, also is not suggested for rock climbing.

DONT BUY THESE SHOES THEY WILL BREAK WITHIN A YEAR

I bought these shoes in 2021 and used them for 4 hikes. Within this period the front part of the shoes has started coming off. I did not expect this kind of quality when I had spent 24000 INR on a pair of shoes.

Too expensive due to tax/ tariffs, actua price is way too low like 50–60% lower than curr Price

For my brthr in india , do not buy these shoes.Firstly their original price when i had bought them in yr 2023 was around 23k n suddenly the price doubled to 54k. So its way toooo expensive and also my shoes sole has worn off though i have not used them for any trek. So its a waste of money to buy so expensive shoes as it all tax or tariffs.
