These are line level input jacks, not designed to carry amplified output

Yes, you can install two different units but they work independently. You could connect them to the same media device (audio receiver) as separate channels.

The number of speakers and any impedance issues would only be related to the amplifier you are connecting this to. As far as I can tell the Pyle in wall receiver has a preamp only. It's not designed to directly drive either 4-8 ohm speakers.

Its good as described.

The controller was received as per the description. Its perfect however its not a standalone amplifier. It requires an external amplifier to power the speakers. Overall its ok.
