I love Joico hair products. They’re excellent quality and help to keep my highlighted hair looking healthy. Other products I used in the past really dried my hair out. The scent is pleasant, not overwhelming. The large bottles are a good price for all you get.

Used this a few years ago after I fried my hair to death bleaching it myself(removing bright red red is hard, I’m naturally a dark-medium blonde) It revived what was left of my hair after I gave up on keeping extensions in. Once my hair was healthy enough, we bleached my color to a lighter cool tone blonde compared to my darker warm tone and I switched to joicos purple lines. After a year of using purple shampoo and conditioner I was having issues with hair loss/thinning, I lost my curl pattern, my hair wasn’t soft anymore and was genuinely unhappy. I decided to switch back to this to see if that would help and there was such a big difference in just one wash!!! Now two months later my hair is no longer falling out, my curls are back frizz is down and my hair is so so so soft!!!! I was noticing a lot of bronzing in my hair though so I ordered the same type of violet dye every purple shampoo uses and dyed this version of it myself to make it combat that issue. Works like a charm, my hair is healthy happy and purple tone ashy blonde ^_^ couldn’t be happier

My hair LOVES this line! I used Joico Moisture Recovery for the longest time but found my hair not looking very healthy, brittle and losing quite a bit of it. Defy damage doesn’t leave my hair greasy, it’s shiny and it smells wonderful!

I bought this on the advice from my hair dresser. I loved it when she used it so I thought I would give it a try. It is not a miracle worker for my dry hair. I do like the smell, packaged nicely, arrive on time.

I have long thick hair. I just had a bit cut off because of damage. I don’t use any products in my hair like hairspray and the only heat on my hair is once a week to straighten it. My stylist suggested these. I love it! I don’t need detangler. It doesn’t weigh my curls down. My blonde and red/purple look great. So far I love it. We will see in a few months if it helped any to avoid new damage. But I do love the way my hair feels with the shampoo and conditioner.

The shampoo is great for thin and colored hair leaves your hair soft and smooth. The conditioner is the best no flyaways no static and not greasy.
