You Don't Even Need to be a Mechanic to Make This Easy Fix for No Dash Lights
An affordable repair for a fairly common problem in aging GM trucks and SUV's. The dash lights quit working on my 25 year old Chevy truck and searching some YouTube videos revealed the problem and the how-to for fixing it. It's so easy, the average person can make the repair after viewing easy to find videos. It took longer to watch the video than to make the repair for my vehicle!

Fixed My Problem!
I ordered this because my dash lights wouldn't come on at all. After doing some research online and running some wire test, it turns out that this needed to be replaced. After doing so, all of the lights came on. Even some parts ib my truck such as the window buttons, all have lights as well. This I didn't know. It was very affordable and easy to install. Took me literally about 3 minutes to swap out the old with the new. Highly recommend.

Works perfectly but trim color doesn't match
This switch fit perfectly and install was a breeze. The new switch fixed the issue I was having with my dash lights. Only reason for 4 stars is the plastic is quite a bit darker than OE trim, not a big deal.

Easy fix
Love how easy it is to swap out (watch video on YouTube.) Dislike back lighting on it. Was bright for 2 days, then went very dim.

Ran to HOT, put off a plastic smell
Maybe mine was defective but it got so hot that it put off a burnt smell in the cabin every time the headlights turned on.
