In my experience, no. It does not record at 1080p/60fps.

Q: How can I use this without headphone/mic attached and still hear audio on my pc?

I had to purchase a splitter to get around this. I attached the splitter directly to the capture card. After the splitter was plugged in I plugged my headphones in to one side and the second audio cord to the mic port on my laptop.

Q: For xbox one, all i want to do is record gameplay (video + sound). does this work for that? i don't care for recording my voice.
