Awesome jar. I don't know the technical details of how light affects spices (or "spices"), but this jar does block out light as advertised. Cap is plastic with an inner liner that seals well and locks in smell. Highly recommend this product.

I have bought a number of INFINITY jars, happy with them all. These, were 30ml, 1.oz. They are a bigger diameter than I was hoping for, being around 2" outside diameter, 1 15/16" high. I had bought the 0.5 .oz, which is the outside diameter that I need, which is 1 11/16" outside diameter. I am looking for an INFINITY jar, at around one ounce, but around the 1 11/16" outside diameter. The jars I bought are great, and will be used for something else. ((( I am using the jars for supplements)))..

I had read reviews that the jars were odor proof, but that was not my experience. I used it to store ground cannabis for travel and after being in my suitcase, you could definitely smell it. Other than that, I like it as a storage container.

I have several Infinity Jars. Love them! They are such high quality containers, really does keep the smells contained and your herb fresh.

I absolutely love these very stylish and effective storage containers, I own about 10 now all different sizes. Love the fact that there not amber but this new blue total UV blocker. Also like the fact it was founded by a medicine herbalist who used his jars and apothecaries to dramatically extend the shelf life of Rare and expensive dried herbs for 2+ years in some cases!

Beautiful, heavy duty, and compact.

jars are a little small but its ok I understand but I feel like my herbs are drying up on top not just because for the obvious reason that it does that in the first place. But for the reason that it's not actually working. I need more time to spend to get a good ......sensation xD
