This is so perfect to keeping gophers and ground squirrels away. I pour about one tablespoons and cover hole. Unfortunately it's not a permanent solution but it does it's job and it's waterproof. It doesn't wash away when it gets wet. Be careful you may need to wear gloves and or a mask.

The title says it all. Cayenne Pepper sprinkled over the soil where you planted your annuals will keep your dogs out. It's such a lifesaver this product should be listed under dog supplies. I don't know who tipped me to this initially, but after over 20 years of owing dogs while gardening, it was a revelation. Because dogs lead with their noses, they just won't go there and also seem to continue the aversion. This is a nice big package, with a zip seal that works well. Initially, your sprinkled pepper will be bright orange-red, but fades to brownish and lasts until watering or rain. My dogs are most interested in new planting but if for some reason their interest is renewed, perhaps by wildlife, I just add another sprinkle. I've added a picture of my basset hound displaying her disinterest in my garden. It's a miracle.

Fast delivery. Fresh smelling and looking seed. It is packaged well, very well for re-sealing. It also opens well to make a perfect re-seal. Tastes good and I look forward to using this in my cooking and for it's health benefits. This package will last quite awhile and if it is still available I will buy it again.

Ceylon cinnamon is the true cinnamon (vs. Saigon cinnamon). MicroIngredients is a good, reliable source, reasonably priced, and fast delivery.

I buy this in bulk and use it on so much! This is a very versitile spice. Not all ceylon is the same. It depends on the grade and location it is harvested from. This ceylon is from the inner bark. It has a mild taste. I love spicy food so it is kind of mild to me. That said there are special properties in genuine ceylon that make it healthier than the other types. From the standpoint of health it is shown in studies to help with health in terms of blood sugar levels and it has fiber. It really is a great addition to foods. On top of that there are other uses for it. It can be sprinkled on plant soil to freshen it and keep down insects or fungal problems with the soil. I have had various varieties of ceylon and can tell the difference in the taste from brand to brand. I am not certain where they source it from but they clearly state they are using the inner bark. The bark of ceylon is lighter colored than the other varieties. It also tends to have a different thickness or texture if you get the sticks. This is a must have for any serious herbalists or culinary artists. It also is great for some house plants to condition the top of the soil.

Excellent tasting garlic powder which measures and pours easily and doesn’t cake. I sprinkle in my slaw and after tossing with dressing, it has incorporated completely. I also sprinkle it into sauces or mashed potatoes and cauliflower and it performs really well adding the fresh garlic taste I’m looking for. Unless I need to be able to see the fresh garlic dice in my finished recipe, I use this garlic powder every time for a more controlled great garlic flavor.
