No they do not have a battery operated model! I had to return my mo.s clock because we only have one outlet in her room. This description is wrong

Q: how accurate is the clock

Today is June 12, 2019, 4:50 pm.......my clock is saying it's June 11, 9:45 PM. I just tossed it in the trash because NOW I can't even set it to the correct day and time. Also, if the power is interrupted it's suppose to return to the correct time when power resumes. No......it doesn't. And it's SO tricky to re-set the thing that a person with dementia would never be able to do it. Very frustrating.

Q: On the "newest version" is there an option to turn off the "morning, afternoon, evening" read out?? or is it always displayed? Thanks

Most seller of this type of clock on Amazon (and there are LOTS of them) claim in their headline that theirs is the "newest version", which is moronic and amounts to information pollution. Who knows which one is actually the "newest version", but obviously all that claim theirs is are not telling the truth. It makes me want to select my purchase from one of the few without this absurd claim.

Q: Does this plug in or does it use batteries? If it uses batteries, what size?

It plugs in but it does have backup batteries in the event you lose power. It came with them. I’m not sure either AA or AAA
