New boot goofin' 😉👍
I'm big on this military style boot because I like the ankle support, and they're easy to get on and off with the addition of the zipper down the side. As such, I've bought a number of pairs of them over the years. To me its hard to find a better shoe to work in, especially when you're on your feet nearly 16 hours a day, 7 days a week like I am. Theres a reason we issue them to the boys out there fighting for our freedom I figure, right? If they're good enough for the Marines, gotta be good enough for me. And these boots are definitely good enough! I've had them nearly a month now I think, and I've been putting off writing a review to really test them out and see how well they hold up as advertised. And for a boot thats cheaper than most name brand tennis shoes, these things are absolutely awesome. My last pair were made by Reebok, cost about $100 dollars more, and lasted me the same as most boots have (roughly a year). The biggest difference between the Reebok boot and this boot, is that this boot is not steel toe. But the Reeboks weren't waterproof, and man am I impressed with the water proofing on this boot... Especially considering these are cheaper than a new pair of Nike tennis shoes. I specifically waited for a large rain storm to roll in before reviewing these so I could test the water proofing. I've added a picture above. Stood out in the rain in a substantial puddle for maybe two minutes to see if water was going to seep in just for this review! lol. My feet are still dry as a bone! So they definitely function as advertised! They look great, although I'm not huge on the faux leather deal at the top of the ankle. But beyond that they look almost identical to the reeboks, and the ankle portion is usually covered by my tactical pants anyway, so whatever. They also fit soooo much better than the Reeboks did when I bought them, and without added insoles at that! The Reebok insoles wore out on me in maybe 3 months, it was ridiculously quick. Like I said, I'm in them and working vastly more than I'm not, so buying insoles has become relatively common for me. Plus, I'm slightly flat footed, so they help keep my arches from constantly falling as well. But so far I've neither felt the need to buy insoles, nor had any adverse effects from using the included insole. My arches havent fallen, and my feet feel great. My foot is on the narrow side though, and it seems to me these boots are too. Which is good for me, they fit perfectly and that helps with comfort. But if you have a wide foot maybe consider going up half a size and see how that works for you. Amazon's return policy is good enough that if they don't fit, its no big deal. Drop them back off at a UPS store and order a new pair when you get refunded the next day, yah know? No harm no foul. To me, these things felt great from the moment I put them on though. There wasn't much need to break them in like other military boots I've bought. Usually you're in for a rough week the first week after you buy a pair. They never seem to have the "give" you need them to when you first buy them, but that wasn't a problem with these boots at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find them significantly more comfortable than my last couple pairs of boots from the jump.I was actually on Amazon about to purchase another pair of the Reeboks when I found these and man am I glad I saved the extra $100 bucks. You simply can not beat the value on these boots. They fit true to size, have great support, they're comfortable, and they have great water proofing capabilities. I'll definitely be back in another year or so to repurchase these bad boys.

So far I'm very happy with these boots (with 1 year review - AND 18 MONTH REVIEW)
Let's get one thing straight right from the beginning. There are NOT high quality boots. They are cheaply made, but that's ok because at $60 they're cheaply priced. I knew what I paid for these, and that set the bar for my expectations: I'm not judging these boots to the same standard that I use for my $200 work boots that I buy locally.Ok, now for my first impressions (I will update this review in a couple months):Construction is 99% glued, not stitched - expected for an inexpensive boot.I normally wear a 12 wide, and that's what I ordered. These fit really nicely right out of the box. I mean, *really* nicely. They fit like boots that have been worn in for a week first time I put them on. That's a really big plus for me because on most boots (regardless of price) they just aren't wide enough and squeeze the balls of my feet until the leather stretches. The support is pretty good, though I replaced the foam rubber insole with a better one right away. This isn't because of any problem with the originals, I do that with every shoe I buy.Arount the ankles they are comfortable and supportive as you'd expect from an 8" boot and don't show any manufacturing defects that could dig into the skin or anything, so again, high marks there for a boot at this price point. The lowers have a reasonable tread, and after one light shift at work, I didn't have any problems with traction or slipping. They are not the cheap 'dense foam rubber' that some boot bottoms are made with, they feel like 'real' rubber, if that makes any sense. Again, pretty good for a $60 pair of boots. The side zipper has functioned well so far, but it feels kinda light duty. Gut feel, I think this will be the first thing to go, but there are no problems with them right now, so we'll see.Under the zipper is a web of light pleather material, I assume to help with water resistance. I though it would dig in and be uncomfortable once I tightened the laces, it it has actually been fine. So once again, very good for an inexpensive boot.So overall, I give these boots very high marks. I'm really happy with the fit and function after a day and a half. Five stars.I will edit this review if these boots fail or have any significant issues within six months, I think that's a fair life expectancy for them. If thay last longer than that I'de consider it icing on the cake, and I'd probably buy them again if they do.Edit one year later:Ok, so bottom line is that these boots need replacing. But for me that's not bad. I destroy all my work boots in about a year or so. But here's the important part... THEY AREN'T FALLING APART. Don't laugh... I've had some very expensive (comparatively) boots come out of a year's use in much worse shape. The leather usually seperates from the bottom near my little toe but these boots are still holding tight!.The side zipper that I though would go first is still going strong and the pleather flap behind the zipper is still fine. The tread has held up...hmmmmm... moderately well, there's still good tread left, but it has worn to be sure. They don't look so hot anymore, they're streatched and pulled, have some wrinkles in the leather, but compared to most boots after 1 year on my feet, these are doing great.100% I will be buying these again; but maybe I can get another month or two out of them...18 Month review:Ok, time for new ones. They still haven't split, which is a small miracle as far as I'm concerned. The arches aren't as supportive as they were new, and the outsides are getting pretty tatty looking.. the toes are culring up a little, there's overspray on them, oil, dirt etc. But function wise, they're really not bad. Honestly very good for a $60 boot. Very very good.I'm ordering a new pair today just because these look nasty, and are getting a little, uhm, ripe inside. I'll probably keep these in the garage for poop duty. All in all, I'm really impressed with these... and the leather STILL hasn't started to split from the lowers!

Not polishable
Great price. Fit great. I wear a 9 1/2 wide and the size was spot on. They don’t hold polish well but that might change with time.

Stylish, Comfortable Boots That Became Dad’s New Favorites
I bought these boots as a Christmas gift for my 95-year-old father, who’s still very active and healthy for his age. He used to always stick with his old shoes, but he absolutely loves these and now wears them as his main pair—whether he’s dressed casually or in a suit. They’re easy for him to put on, very comfortable, and the quality is truly impressive. The side zipper is a great feature that makes getting them on and off even easier. He’s been wearing them daily for the past four months and couldn’t be happier.

Great ruck shoe
Perfect rucking shoe, keep your feet warm but not too hot, I got the 9.5 wide and they are a great fit my toe box is not too tight together but not to lose, they are waterproof out of the box but I’d recommend treating them with a waterproofing spray just to be sure. The boot leather is very nice quality, and so is the sole, overall I’m really impressed with the quality for only ~60 dollars

Side zip boots
If I was to buy them again. I’d probably go one size bigger. They’re a little tight to get on. I bought a 12 wide other than that. They’re pretty nice boots. We’ll see how long they last?

Held up well. Good zipper.
Held up very well. I am hard on shoes with welding, grinding, sparks, etc. Also have a bad habit of leaving them laced and using the zipper for on/off. I expected the zipper to give out or tear in zipper are. Impressed. Sole is very soft rubber. Squeeks like a gym shoe.
