Vestibular Migraine & Vertigo Sufferer - Green!!!
I got the entire set because what the heck the price is right. I wanted the green for help with my migraines, vertigo and other symptoms. It is not like you put them on and your migraine is gone - now that would be something! It is more like it is calming to your brain, eyes and face (if you suffer you'll get it). It definitely helps tone down the misery. I wear them everyday for 30 minutes and put them on if I feel like I need to. I have been slowly trying the other colors. The Yellow is lovely, if you don't have a migraine - lol. My boyfriend finds them fun and tries different ones when he feels like it. They fit well. Are super light weight. I got the glass case in the picture specifically for this glasses set. Having them all laid out and visible helps me use them more (and keeps the glasses clean and safe).

Better Than Expected
Better quality than I had expected. Sturdy. Good size. Very intense colored lenses. Great for mood-altering walks with the dog!

As described
I liked how the world looks through these glasses ...too long of use does mess with your vision and causes a slight headache so I don't wear them very long but still nice little pick me ups!

Love them!
So cool. They arrived safely and all in one piece. The hinges are a bit stiff and I really wish they came with at least a couple small cases and a nice box to store them all in. I have autism and I feel like these are actually going to help me a lot with all the sensitivity to bright and unpleasant lighting I experience daily. The dark ones especially really take the harshness out of the daylight sun.. like the outside sunny midday world actually seems pretty and enjoyable for a change instead of overwhelming. Like on a cloudy day. I can't wait to try them in fluorescent lighting (which normally drives me crazy and I avoid like the plague). Maybe one of them will make it look and feel nice too. My immediate favorites are red, blue, yellow and indigo. The dark ones greatly alter the appearance of the world, while the lighter ones only change it a little. The blue makes everything feel cool and wintery and the red is like being on another planet or being a vampire. The indigo just kinda cools everything down, but not as extremely as the blue. And the yellow is not very different from normal, it's easy to see everything, there is just a beautiful golden light to everything and the light is slightly toned down. I never got into normal sunglasses in spite of how the sun tends to annoy me because they just make everything grey and hard to see.. it's totally different. These are so much better.

Color therapy to wear on your nose
My father was a psychologist for a school district who diagnosed students and discovered their aptitudes and special needs. He once told me that most kids diagnosed with ADHD did not have actual, brain-based near-chemical deficient ADHD, they had other problems that presented as ADHD. One of the most common problems young students had was difficulty with reading. And for many of these, a simple, effective remedy was to either isolate the line they read with a piece of blank paper, or to provide a colored filter. Different colors worked best for different kids, and the wrong color could make things worse, so he kept about 15 colored transparencies, like the kind used to change stage lighting before computers controlled stage effects. When he found the best color match for a student, he gave the color transparency to the kid, and soon class performance and grades improved.Recent research into color therapy has verified that a good color match can reduce the effects of concussion damage and other conditions. The great thing about this set is you have a wide range of colors to experiment with, so you can find the colors that work well for you. I like the yellow best for study, reading and writing; I find the green the most soothing and calming color. I love the pink for when I go socializing, it seems to inspire a happy mood to see "la vie en rose".Just recently, I was talking with a friend who has actual, brain-based ADHD. On a hunch, I brought one this pack of glasses. She was instantly drawn towards the orange shade. Now, when I'd tried on the orange glasses, I'd felt like I was about to have a heart attack. But she put them on, looked around, smiled, and said, "Oh, I feel better. This is good." I'd like to find out if that is a fairly common reaction tot he orange color for people with stimulant-dependent ADHD.I am especially impressed by how sturdy and smooth the frames are.

Definitely not an $80 value
When I first received this order I only received 7 out of the 10. Purple Canyon itself did not replace them but Amazon did after I sent the 7 back. I received the full order and have had them for maybe 5 or 6 weeks and a few pair have already broken after very light use.
