I purchased this to go with my new Secret Labs desk. What surprised me was that this turned out to be even better quality than the one I got from Secret labs.

Over the past several months, I’ve tried a variety of large mouse pads and even a few felt and leather desk mats. Out of all of them, the Corsair MM350 was the best—until I discovered the Asus Scabbard II. At $50, it’s definitely on the pricier side for a mouse pad, but the build quality and performance make it worth the investment. Mouse tracking is noticeably quicker than on any other pad I’ve used, yet it still maintains excellent control. If you're searching for your end-game mouse pad, I highly recommend giving the Asus Scabbard II a try.

This mousepad feels amazing to play on. I use a Model O 2 wireless mouse and it glides so smooth on this mousepad.The real important information though is how your cat will stand up to this. Well I've had the Scabbard II extended for 2 months and in the very beginning she clawed it a couple of times but minor and she doesn't really claw it anymore after she realized how comfortable it is to sleep on it. This mousepad is big enough to do her big stretch when she sleeps and still have mousepad left over to game. She still bites the edges from time to time when she's bored but its nowhere near as bad as getting your mousepad clawed since your mouse glides over it.

So far this mousepad has been a dream come true for me in every way. Extra smooth, durable, waterproof, fast but controllable, and comfortable for my skin. My only concern is the longevity of its coating, but for that, I will need more time to see it.

I've tried several large pads over the past several months, including the Corsair MM350, Razer Gigantus V2, Steelseries XXL, along with a few felt and leather desk mats. The best was the MM350 until I tried this Asus Scabbard II. I love this pad so much I bought 2. $50 for a mouse pad ain't cheap, but I expect this Asus to last a long time. Mouse tracking is a lot quicker than on any other pad I tried without sacrificing control. If you're looking for your own end game mouse pad, give this Asus Scabbard II a shot.
