Ankle Brace for Women and Men, Lace Up Ankle Support Brace Stabilizer for Sprained Ankle (S)

I went over on my ankle on uneven ground while walking the dog last week and I haven’t been out since because I needed something that would really support my ankle to stop me going over. I had a normal Velcro support but I didn’t feel secure enough to venture out. This one is great!!!! Yes like some people say it’s a bit long winded to get on, but only because if you do have a bad ankle, you need to loosen the laces right up but you expect that. I do think though that I will get faster and will stick with it as it’s worth it. I just loosen them all totally from the top downwards, then tighten them up from the bottom to the top. The little video on here is very helpful too and explains exactly how you put it on.Re sizing I just thought I would say I think they come up slightly smaller than expected. I’m a size 6 and I went for the small as opposed to the xs. I’m glad I did as it fits so perfectly!!! Easy enough to put my walking boots over the top too. All in all I recommend this ankle support and would say a few extra minutes sorting out the laces is worth it!!! Your foot and ankle feel so snug and supported and it’s comfy and breathable. I give it 10/10.

I sprained my ankle twice and needed stabilising to stop it going again while it recovered. This kind of support was recommended by a physio.I contacted the company to check sizing as I have size 5 feet but my ankle and calf measurement didn't match. The company assured me which measurement to use and that if the sizing wasn't ok I could return the support.The support I bought is bigger around the foot as a result to accommodate the ankle size but the laces tighten up well without bunching up. The crossover straps follow the path of the ligament and the pattern a physio would tape, so support the ankle well. The pull up in the strap means you can add more support to the damaged ligament to stop it rolling in that direction.It is comfortable and doesn't make your foot hot.It's complicated and can take a little time to put on but gets easier as you get more used to it. I feel very well supported and the ankle feels very stable without feeling too restricted. I have good range of movement in my foot with it on. It won't restrict too much as it's not a brace, so allows healthy healing without losing range of movement, but I can feel it prevents movement laterally so would stop the ankle rolling.Very happy with it. I have to wear it to work, so it's on 10 hours a day 5 days a week but still feels comfortable enough to drive the hour commute each way, and still keep on even when I get home. I've occasionally had to loosen it to drive home if the ankle has been a bit swollen from being on my feet a lot during the day, but thata probably becuase it's been too tight to start, other than that it is brilliant.The company also emailed to check the support was working out for me after I ordered.Very pleased and it's very good value for money. There are other makes that are much more expensive but they all do the same thing. I'm a happy customer with a stable ankle.

Can’t recommend this product enough to my Team mates. I ended up with bad ankle injury where I was told a wouldn’t be able to play Rugby for 4/5 months and after that a would be slow progress to build back to wear a needed to be on footwork but knowing a couldn’t miss rest of season went on the hunt and came across this and after 6weeks it helped me to be able to put weight and function enough to get back on the field as long as a kept this on. Don’t get me wrong am not saying it’s a miracle worker but it’s helped me through my recovery period and a still use it on game days now 7 months down the line just for my own preference/safety.A would say don’t size up if anything size downAm a size 5 would recommend a XS

Despite going by the size guide I found this brace to small. It is very tight around the foot at the front and with the laces on it it is uncomfortable to wear with my trainers. Would be supportive if it fitted well.

It was impossible to put on and when it finally fit me it did not effect my ankle at all

After using the measurement guide. I was a size large. Disappointed to see it was too big and bulky. Not supportive though that's likely down to it being too big. Though definitely on the bulky side, not sure how you can wear footwear whilst wearing this.

I have tried numerous ankle supports over the years, some were too small, too big, too tight, too loose. I have spinal Injuries and one of the problems this has caused, is nerve damage down my left hand side, especially my leg.So every now and then I'll fall over my own feet, as my left foot has lost sensation and down I go.Then by pure chance I came across this support and it's the goldilocks of ankle supports.It's just right.It gives support without being too tight or becoming too hot and I can wear trainers, shoes, slippers etc, etc.The price is amazing and next day delivery, what's not to like.I would advise to give it a go, I have found my ankle support, that I need and after a week....no falling over, I have an automatic car due to lack of left foot ability, but I could probably drive manual again.?Not sure I want to risk it, but it should help anyone with a manual car.

We bought this brace 2 years ago as my daughter sprained her ankle pretty bad during a softball game. She has worn this brace for every practice and game for the last 2 years. It has finally bit the dust at the end of this season and we are needing to buy a new one. I have to say I'm impressed with he durability of this brace. She played 81 games just this past season for Rep softball, and that doesn't even count for each practice or anything she did last season as well as school sports. She was able to play effectively (slide, run, jump etc.) during practices and games with confidence. She has stated that it was comfortable, easy to put on, and felt secure. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is needing support and highly active.

The velcro straps are tricky to get just right, and must be done in an exact order. Fortunately official and unofficial online videos show exactly what to do. The user guide and pictures don't help much.The lacing must be done before any of the straps. I found it impossible to get my foot in and out, until I left the top 3 eyelets on each side unused. Then my foot would go in & out without too much trouble, while the lacing still provided very good support. If I need more, there's lacing to spare of I'm willing to work harder.Velcro is strong & ought to last at least 12 months with regular use, I estimate.

This brace is really helping while I'm healing from a sprained ankle. It doesn't come with instructions so you will need to watch the video on the Amazon site. I'm a US women's size 8 and the XS fits perfectly.

The sizing is very correct. Gave me stability for my 3rd degree sprain. Highly recommend this brace. Quality of the brace is great.

I tend to fall very easily and have managed to twist the same ankle 4 times now within the span of 2 months, so i decided to get a brace to help it heal properly and hold it together. I followed the measuring chart and it fit great, it holds my ankle really well and allows me to walk freely without being worried about falling again. Strong and comfortable.
