Flexible and Easy Setup
Works Great - Easy setup - downloaded app from web site. The best feature is that it can be used to transfer all data files or just a few. Files transferred very fast and without problems. Remember, it does not transfer programs. They have to be installed separately.

Great product/software but double check to make sure you copy all files.
Great product for transferring data to new computer since Microsoft doesn’t really provide one. Transfer went smoothly but it did not transfer some music that was in a directory from an old computer. Found it best to look at the storage report that list photos, music and files and make sure the new computer matches the total. However, the software does provide a way to easily transfer these lost files when found. BTW, the software saw these files as “hidden” for some reason.

Transferred to One Drive
This worked great! But it transferred my 23,000 files to the One Drive instead of the C drive on my new computer. You have to register online and it seems to work through the internet which is probably why it is lightning fast. But everything went to the OneDrive and Microsoft locked my account for over-use of space. You only get so much space on the OneDrive for free, then you have to pay. I could do nothing. So thankfully I had backed most everything up on an external hard drive and could get it into my new computer from there.I was disappointed that this happened and I followed all the instructions. I saw no options to allow me to select the C drive. It only said transfer from this computer to this other computer. I wasted my money, but it was a learning experience. If you have a lot of data, keep this in mind. You may be able to select files and do it in chunks. I did not know, so I had a disaster. But no harm done in the end. I cleaned out the One Drive and all is well except it was time-consuming to solve.

Junk - don’t bother unless you like lots of frustration
Cable/software doesn’t work - constantly drops connection, even when used on different USB ports. The software itself is a joke: needs to run under Admin credentials on Windows 10. So if you try to transfer user data files, it only has the option for the Admin user data. When you try to do drag & drop it won’t show the users folder until you select to show system & hidden folders. If files are in use you get a prompt and transfer stops - no way to select an “copy this decision for all other files” option.Every time connection drops, have to start from beginning. The blue light is still blinking on the doodad in the middle of the cable, but software displays error and then you have to shut it down - no way to reconnect & resume copy.I’m returning this and will pull out the old hard drive and connect it via SATA-to-USB cable to the new PC. I’ve already cloned a SATA drive to SSD drive that way and it worked beautifully.

Functional Product, Slower Than Advertised, Saddled by Mediocre Software
Syncing between my desktop and laptop was always done via SyncBack Pro over a gigabit network. As file sizes grew, it became evident that the gigabit ethernet was the bottleneck.Set up was easy enough but despite the cable being identified by Windows 10, it still required the Bravura software, and ONLY the Bravura to operate. And this is where things go a bit sideways. I couldn't use Syncback Pro to synchronize between my laptop and desktop over the Plugable USB 3.0 cable because I was unable to create a network over the bridge cableThe next problem, is that the Bravura software, is unable to SYNC hidden system folders, like the AppData folder wherein some application specific data resides. This becomes problematic if one is synchronizing data from applications that store information int his folder. Support recommends using manual drag-n-drop copy of files. Finally to cap things off, the theoretical bandwidth available to USB 3.0 is 5Gbps or roughly 640MBps theoretical maximum. Doing a benchmark test took 50GB of ISO images roughly 17 minutes to transfer. That's about 49MBps average.Copying the same files across the network goes faster than >100MBps.Copying between USB and internal SSD drives have >400MBps write speeds. Both systems are rather robustly spec'd, ie. Core i7's with 32GB of RAM and solid state drives.Referring this to support yielded responses saying "we can't comment on network speed" or "can't comment on other sync applications" *paraphrasing*.I'm quite disappointed with this purchase given the anticipated performance boost was nowhere to be seen. However, if you simply need a no-frills quick sync application with a USB3.0 connection, this will pretty much fulfill your needs. Pricepoint wise, it isn't half bad, and it is far less complicated to set up than syncing over a network.Support, however, was rather prompt in their responses and appear to be taking feedback rather well, adding one star just for that.

Product code or user license was included on the cable
The product code was included on the cable but I didn't take note before I plugged into the back of my All-In-One PC. Everything worked perfect and my files were successfully transferred from my old PC to my new PC in no time :-)! Apologies for my initial review!
