I've used many different brands of clarified butter (ghee) and have even made my own. I love this stuff! This brand is perfect and super high quality. It's one of the best fats you can cook with as it has a high smoke point, and the flavor is good. Do yourself a favor and stop cooking with the harmful vegetable and seed oils and keep your pantry stocked with this! I even use this when making toast ha! For those of you who have lactose issues, this is your butter! It's a perfect healthy fat for people who are wanting to improve their brain function and heal nerve conditions. It's my top recommendation to my patients. You should have this, lard, and tallow, and you're set with all you need for healthy eating and cooking.

The Jar I received has golden yellow colored beautiful ghee. Normally I prefer to use organic grass-fed ghee obtained from Desi cows for the most health benefits, but an inner instinct led me to give this one a try, (even though it is made in the USA). And wow what unexpected experience I have had (perhaps not one you get to read in a Ghee review...but it is true). I have used this Golden Monkey Ghee three times so far, on three different days.My experience: After eating this ghee, I had a smile on my face the whole day, and I found myself in a pleasant state of mind (with minimal effort if any) despite plenty of undesirable circumstances (that normally could easily throw me off balance--at least for a little while-unless and until I had done my SKY Breath Meditation). We know that Ghee nourishes the nervous system, but this is just another level of positive effect-that endured, that I had not observed so readily before with other Ghees.Also, ancient scriptures note that ghee absorbs the vibrations of the environment (especially one it's made in). Now I don't know about all the facts surrounding the making of this ghee, but after consuming this ghee, I have this strong conviction that this Ghee is definitely made with the purest of intentions, with lots of love, care, and goodness in the heart. And I feel blessed that it landed in our home. Not only did I feel good, feel happy, but also another major thing I found is that consuming this ghee seemed to have pulled out some deep rooted toxins from my body, and provided nourishment at the same time, like I had not expected at all. Now without going into too many details, I personally find that consuming this Golden Monkey Ghee so far has been deeply detoxyfing AND nourishing/strengthening. Wow. It is definitely, a blessing in a Jar. And so with sooo many benefits unfolding in such a short time--(and I am so happy to be aware of them thanks to my meditation practice), that is exactly why I feel obligated to share my experience/ this review with you all.I feel that everyone should definitely give it a try and am very grateful that such a priceless product filled with sooo much goodness for everyone is so easily available to all of us. Personally, I am finding it to improve health on all the levels that matter: physical, mental, and emotional; and wish everyone can experience the same benefits. I think that's enough said. Excellent ghee, we use it for cereals, frying, etc.

Wonderful to use on a low salt diet. NO SODIUM!

Rancid. First time ordering, I’m sure it was a fluke. My daughter and I almost puked when we sampled it, and we love ghee.

Tasty and easy to open; lasts and does not have to be refrigerated. Very handy and it has a high smoke point so won’t turn rancid.
