Best tasting whey out there!
This has to be one of the best tasting whey proteins on the market and I’ve had quite a few over the years!! The banana split favour whey is unreal! Placed my order and received my goods the next day. Can’t fault 10X Athletic and will definitely buy from them again! Keep up the good work.

Awesome
Awesome banana flavor. This is honestly the best tasting shake on the market..try it. I can promise you’ll be converted. The shake mixes better than other shakes too, I use water and ss milk, there are no lumps after about four shakes. Unreal.

Palatable, very sweet
For me I found the taste a bit too sweet and artificial. However it's easy to drink. Entirely palatable. Whereas some protein shakes I have had are awful, this one lies closer to nice.It whisks down very easily. I use a little hand blender but shaking is fine.It doesn't make my breath smell like I find some protein shakes do. Nor does it leave a bad taste in my mouth. It fills me up plenty after a workout until dinner. Ideal.

Great taste (chcocolate milk flavour). Informed Sport and Informed Choice approved. Expensive.
My partner tested this item. This is his review. This is the first product I have tried from the supplements brand 10x.It is interesting to note that this product is made in the USA. The fact that it is marketed in a positive way seems to suggests that this is a positive factor. In a normal circumstance, I would quite agree. Sadly, nowadays there is an increased awareness on our individual carbon footprint. But let's not take away any of the quality from this product. This protein whey protein powder from 10x has both informed sport and informed choice accreditation. It is also vegetarian. The taste is very pleasant. Much better than another chocolate flavoured whey protein that I have recently tried. The chocolate milk flavour is really tasty and kind of tastes of chocolate milk which is nice. The closest thing it can remind me of is somewhere between a chocolate milkshake and hot chocolate flavoured drink. This way protein powder contains an artificial sweetener in the form of sucralose. With many protein powders, they often put too much sweetener in. However, for my palate at least, 10x have done a great job here as this protein powder is not too sweet and I think in fact is just right in terms of the level of sweetness. The quantity of protein per 35g serving is 25g. I think this is a little lower than usual for a flavoured protein powder. However, I think the taste makes up for it here. I usually target 20 grams of protein per serving for myself, so I mix around 28 grams of this powder into some water.Price wise at £29.99 for 750g (22 servings), this is definitely on the more expensive side. This is something to consider when looking to buy this.Overall, I'm quite impressed. mainly due to the fantastic flavour that 10x have managed to produce with the chocolate milk flavour of this protein powder.

Way (or should that be Whey) too sweet, and lots of other issues
I am a very active middle aged guy. I regularly run, cycle, indoor row, and strength train. I use protein supplements as part of a careful diet to maintain my current weight and improve stamina and strength. I have used various whey as well as vegan protein powders, and I have 5 questions that I consider with each brand/type of powder.1, Does it taste good?2, Does it mix with liquid well?3, Does it settle on my stomach?4, Does it have a well balanced nutrient content?5, Is it good value for money6, What else do I need to consider? With this 10X Athletic Whey Powder, my answers are as follows:1, There is a nice amount of chocolate flavour, but unfortunately it is way too sweet. Almost like chocolate syrup. I have somewhat of a sweet tooth, but this was too sweet for me.2, It mixed brilliantly. I have used this 10x Athletic Whey Powder twice, once with water, and once with oat milk. It produced a nice creamy, no lump milkshake.3, Both times I have used the product I have had no problems with a gurgling and churning stomach which I have had in the past with other brands of protein powders.4, Nutrient content is okay, there is 71.4g of protein per 100g, but my preferred brand has a lot higher content at 82g per 100g5, This is an expensive product! Whilst I was sent this 10x packet for free, I am conscious that it is listed at £29.99 and has 22 servings (£1.36 per serving). PhD Nutrition (also available from Amazon and my preferred brand) is £15.99 for 40 servings (40 pence per serving).6, The packaging isn't of great quality. The clip bag doesn't seal. I had to use a clip-it type clip to keep the bag airtight. In summary, not the worst protein powder I have used, but definitely not the best. You may want to look on Amazon for other products before committing to this one.

Needs a tweak..
Now, I was looking forward to trying this 10X whey protein as I’m no stranger to 10X products and have been using their vegan creatine with good results. It’s straightforward to mix and it mixes well, without lumps and gives a smooth consistency. As others have already mentioned, it is indeed very sweet in its flavour and even my sweet tooth couldn’t deal with more than a very small quantity.I managed to negate the overly sweet flavour by mixing with another protein powder that I had knocking around and it tastes fine although this isn’t optimum use of the product. It’s great protein, just needs revisiting by the team at 10X to tone it down a touch, to be perfect. I’m sure they will as they are usually bang on the money with their products and flavours. As a side note, my wife did bake some very tasty vegan protein cakes so the high sweetness isn’t all bad..
