I have an Intex spa that is ten or eleven years old. Over the years, I've replaced the driveshaft and last year bought a new tub for it, which was much more affordable than I thought it would be.Over time, water gets inside the plug, and I woke up to mine being melted.This was a direct replacement and was very easy, as all the wires are on terminals and all the screws are included. I sealed the edges with some silicone. A new plug is a lot cheaper than a new pump or a fire. A great safety feature and after so many years of outdoor use I can't complain.
