Works well-but be careful
This is a good product for descaling kettles and small appliances. I have been using it for years, in addition to the kettle etc. I use it for the water tank on my CPAP machine which needs descaling every now and again. It is very effective.It is very important to follow the warnings and instructions carefully. I always put the item being descaled in the sink so if there is spillage it can be flushed away and you are less likely to be splashed in the first place. This product will dissolve delicate surfaces like marble.Wear rubber gloves and make sure the area is well ventilated as the gas from the reaction will make you catch your breath, it is quite unpleasant.Be warned when you pour the liquid into a half full boiled kettle it will foam up very rapidly and will probably come over the top of the kettle.A better packaging system for dispensing the right amount of product would help, say like those used for the dispensing of garden chemicals, so four stars but I do recommend this product to the careful user.AJC

It Works brilliantly
This was recommended to me by a friend. Used it to unblock a coffee machine that had stopped working even after using the manufacturers own very expensive descaling substance.It worked fantasticly and the coffee machine is now back working as well as when new.

Best descaling product ever! Use this all the time now for kettle descaling as we are in a hard water area.
