I have used this one time and I've already purchased two more! I have a Jade Harmony yoga mat which by itself it very grippy but I needed just a little something for my hands in downward dog. I also sweat a lot in hot yoga so something to dab the sweat off as well. I freaking love this towel. I used it yesterday and could not believe how such a tiny little nondescript microfiber towel could be so effective. I placed it at the top of my mat and through my whole practice it didn't have to fidget with it at all, it stayed glued to my mat. I used it to wipe off the sweat a few times and it dried so quickly but still stayed tacky enough to keep my hands from slipping in down dog. It soaks up sweat much like a chamois that you would use to dry your car, it would be perfect for any sport, really. I was using a regular hand towel and it was uncomfortable to step on in other poses like lunge etc, but the hem on this towel stays totally flat and I didn't even feel it when half of my foot was on it. I hand washed it initially and was really glad I did because quite a lot of dye washed out, so keep that in mind. I also think I will stick to hang drying it seems like the type of fabric that would last longer cared for this way. **update** yes, stick to hang drying. I've machine dried mine a couple times by accident and have noticed that the grip is way better when I start sweating in class when they are hung to dry...could have been the fabric softener in the dryer sheets, I suppose.

These are the best workout towels! Super absorbent, and soft. Watch out for a little color bleed in the first few washes of the darker ones (purple and blue), but after a few washes it can go in with everything else. They’re the perfect hand-towel size and absorb so much you don’t need another towel. I just wish Manduka sold more sizes for traveling!!!

Color is beautiful and dark. Sweat is dried up and no residue left behind. I wash it and dry it on a rack, no issues whatsoever with it losing shape or function.

This little towel works great. My husband uses it when he works out and loves it.

The good: it's a quality towel, thick enough for yoga usage and excellent for slipping hands (think downward dog).The not-so good: to buy two or three will cost quite a bit more than the cheaper (and almost as good!) towels out there.Extra bonus tip: wash with regular laundry - DO NOT use fabric softener. Hang dry - DO NOT dry in dryer.

This is a game changer for me. I have sweaty hands and no matter what mat I use my hands slip. Yoga is hard enough for me without the added complication of not being able to hold a pose due to my hands slipping. Gloves help, but can hurt between my fingers. I place this towel across the top of my mat, in easy reach for downward dog, plank, etc and my hands don’t move! No need to premoisten this towel (as reviewers on other towels said), reposition it, or anything else. I am very pleased.

Great towel for working out with! Drys really quick and absorbs sweat better than a regular towel ! Also beautiful color!
