Ok, backstory. I live in Florida and grew up in and around the ocean. About 5 years ago i started breaking out in a painful rash on my face every time I went into the ocean that would last for days. My dermatologist said I'm allergic to an organism in the water that usually affects birds.....really. There wasn't a whole lot she could do except tell me to try and rinse my face frequently and not let the salt water dry on it. I came across this on YouTube and decided why the hell not? OMG this smells like vic's vapor rub and bengay had a baby but it WORKS! I've gone two separate weekends to two separate beaches spent hours in the water, no rinsing off and no rash.

My kids got a terrible case of swimmers itch at the family cottage a few years ago. We purchased this the next summer and have been using it ever since. The swimmers itch was in the lake for a few years and we gave this to all the neighbors. It may be gone now, but my kids don’t want to take the chance and put it on themselves. It’s quick and easy. It smells strong at first, but you don’t notice it after a while and the kids got used to it quickly. No staining of swimsuits. Make sure you follow the directions as apply sunscreen first.

Friend in open water swimming recommended it. I'm fair skinned, prone to attacks by sea lice. Spread a layer of this along your bikini line and chest, neck and wrists and it seemed to ward off most of the lice this season. I swim off coastal NYC and we had a long sea crab/lice season. Pleasant eucalyptus scent.

This product definitely works against swimmers itch!

Applied product as described. Resulted in this rash all over back/chest and arm pits. I believe this product made my lake skin rash more pronounced than usual. Do not purchase, total waste of money.

The product itself is a good one - it works. But the somewhat "worn" condition of the jar suggested a well-travelled life: the top and bottom edges of the label were abraded or worn and there was a pretty worn printed label stuck on top of the jar's original label (presumably by the seller?) the last word of which proclaimed it was "New". Who would have thought it was anything else?I tried to return the product. Prevented swimmers itch. Smells minty

For 15 years, I have been struggling with an irritating rash after snorkeling/swimming in the ocean, this product has changed everything! Used this product on a cruise recently and there was no rash for the first time in years. I’m thankful! Definitely recommend
