I purchased Moisture Magic BBQ Injection intending to use it on a brisket, but I couldn't find a brisket to my liking at the store. Instead, I bought a Boston Butt. Since pork shoulder is quite forgiving, I decided to experiment and inject Moisture Magic along with some pork seasoning for my first use. To my surprise, the pork turned out noticeably more moist than any of the previous 100 or so pork shoulders I've cooked. Based on these impressive results, I plan to start injecting most things cooked on my smoker from now on.

Definitely added smoke flavor, but also added a slalty flavor.Would not recommend mixing with broth since this also has high slat.Will try agin with water to see if I can keep the smoke flavor and lose the salt flavor
