Winner winner chicken dinner. Worked like a charm on a broken #8(?) steel screw snapped in some hardwood.

I had a spark plug break from it's insides screw extractor got it out.

I needed to remove a 1/4" NPT thermal release valve on my pressure washer that had snapped off and had been installed with red loctite. At such a low price I was worried that these would be low quality metal and strip or break before the loctite came free. The pipe was really stuck in there, so eventually I ended up hammering the bit into the pipe and then using a big pair of vice grips for leverage. Once I got it to grab it worked like a champ and saved me a very expensive pressure washer replacement. The only thing I wish was different is that the head of the bit is square, maybe made to go on a classic tap & die handle. For breaking things lose it might be better to design it for easy use with an impact driver.

Really crappy machining. The extractor edges had burrs, chips, and some waves. The small extractors were duller than a butter knife.The package I received was new and had all the manufacturer wrappings. It’s just a terrible product. Wouldn’t extract small bolts due to the aforementioned dullness. Just slipped and slipped.

The left handed drill bits worked as they should but they are not very sharp and I just decided to get a better set so I could get the job done faster. The screw extractors are not very good and the surface would smooth to quick or would break inside the bolt. This set was very low quality and like I said I just had to purchase a better quality set. I guess that’s why it was so cheap of a price , I should have known better.
