A light shower! They can get wet quickly but dry just as quickly and don't get heavy when wet.

Q: Are they the gore tex ones

No, but your feet are gonna get wet if you're trail running. Buy them, be awesome!

Q: Are the Speedcross 5 a wider fit than the 3 and 4, or just the same?

Not the same gtx5 have a higher heal for more support and the tread pattern is a bit different, ie larger middle lugs and reversed lugs at rear of ball of foot for better downhill stability

Similar shoe but 1 is goretex waterproof and 1 isn't.
