Sturdy pole, my dog loves it!
My dog loves this toy! Very study. The other review mentioned the cord isn't very strong, I don't feel the same. However, it is not meant for tugging. The way the toy is built, when/if the cord ever breaks, it'll be really easy to replace. My only complaint is the top portion where the cord screws into the pole, unscrews to easy and often comes undone during play. I think I'll get some lock tight to gum it up a little bit. Overall, so much better than I ever expected for the price. Well worth it.

Feels flimsy but it does it’s job
The dogs love playing with this toy and pull on it and hasn’t really ripped other than the fact that they cut the rope with their teeth, have to keep tying it.

Better for smaller or not so strong dogs
Rooe and attached chew braid very durable; pole not so much for a larger stron puppy. First, the positive. This is by far my Lab puppy's favorite toy. And the braided chew attachment has survived fierce tugging and chewing far better than most toys, which basically survive a week. The sane is true for the rope. But on the negative side, the pole recently snapped at one of the plastic telescoping junctions when he quickly doubled back while tugging. Everything was great when he was 15 pounds, but it was no match for a very strong and active 25 pound puppy. I would recommend it highly for smaller or less athletic dogs. But for my dog I would prefer solid steel poles that screw together rather than telescope.

Needs a more sturdy cord
This is a great product but I have Vizsla's. They are high energy and super chewers! We used this for 10 minutes and even with pulling away from them they managed to chew off the cord. So I will be looking for a more durable cord to run through the pole.

String not durable
While my pup was very excited about this, it didn't last long at all. The string that attaches the toy is like shoestring. Once pup catches the toy, SNAP.. very disappointed. Only played with for about 5 minutes.

Breaks easily
Fun toy but for big dogs it might not have much life, my goldendoodle had it snapped in under an hour, the cord should be thicker.

Awesome dog toy
A tired dog is a relaxed and happy dog. This toy will tire your dog and build muscle in ten minutes.I have a Doberman and this toy will tire him out in 15 minutes. Be sure to warm you dog slowly and after you put the toy away cool your dog down. For deep chested dogs no food or water for at least 30 minutes to prevent bloat.

You pay for what you get
The pole it self feels good quality for the price. It holds up well for s dog that knows commands to release the lure. The string on the lure has broken a few times when the dog wants to tug. Overall not bad has held up well to occasional play. I wouldn’t recommend this if your dog is a stronger tugger

Very impressed!
Purchased for my two American Bully's, they absolutely love it. Very well built, handle it strong and easy to grip, but I woukd nit recommend long periods of extreme tugging as it could snap. However, makes a great way to train the "stop" and "leave it" commands :)Potty tiny has become much more entertaining 👌🏾

Wouldn’t recommend
I thought this would save space but unfortunately it was flimsy. Now it doesn’t close up correctly or lock into place, my dog isn’t pull it and I didn’t force anything open or closed. I kept the item as my dog dirtied it up pretty good, but I recommend buying a full length normal one
