Is this for hydro or soil?

I've been growing over 20 yrs it's made for hydro,soil,coco etc.Jason do sum research first before u answer a q that your not 100% sure of.I worked in a hydro store for years.

how are there aminos if there is no nitrogen?

There is no free nitrogen; the only the nitrogen in the amino chain. Nitrogen atoms in the amino chain are usually bonded to an oxygen atom or two hydrogen atoms, so the nitrogen is not available for the plant to absorb in the nutrient solution. Only the full amino chain is available for absorption.

It turns out that floral production revs up most when your plants are provided the full range and correct forms of substances called amino acids, which are building blocks of proteins, terpenoids, phenols and alkaloids.
