Wasn’t the problem
My fire pit would not turn up to a bright flame and I determined that it must be the valve and thermocouple. I bought this and installed it. Easy job. However, it didn’t fix it. The fix turned out to be either blowing out the low pressure hose to the circular burner or uncovering the burner. I did both and now it burns brightly.

gas won't stay flowing...help
how do you get the knob to stay in so the gas continues to flow? it turns fine and sparks fine but gas shuts off as soon as you release the knob? instructions would be helpful
