excellent and probably the best nail clipper
I have had this product before. It is terrific, but be careful--if you uintentionally drop it and the spring comes out--it is difficult and almost impossible to get the spring back in.

Great design!!
This is a wonderful product! My wife has very bad arthritis in her hands. Normal nail cutters have always been a battle to use and use well! These were a great relief! She still has control issues but this clipper works for her so much better than any other clipper we've had!! As we all get older flexibility is sometimes hard to come by and I've struggled to get the right angle and reach with standard clippers but the rotating clipper head and the way you hold the handle gives you the perfect approach to clipping your toenails! Though it cost more than almost any other clipper it is so worth the price! Thank you for the genius thoughtful design!

The clipper is so easy to use but the packaging is extremely frustrating
I bought the combo pack that includes the toe nail clipper and fingernail clipper. It is an expensive set. That said, both clippers are unique in design and ergonomically awesome. I'm very glad to have them.If you follow the directions (swivel first, long handle on top, hold within your hand...) they work so easily, requiring very little pressure. They are perfect for people with arthritis or other issues that can limit strength of fingers and thumb.Personally, I prefer the use of metal for the handles on the toe nail clipper, although the plastic handles on the fingernail clipper work well too. I wonder why the handles are different?Overall, I give five stars --or more!-- for these two clippers because they cut cleanly and are so easy to use.If only the packaging were as good as the products.Unfortunately, the wonderfully ergonomic fingernail clipper arrived in a fully sealed package that is made of very thick plastic that is extremely difficult to open. You can see this packaging on the left side of the picture. Even using heavy duty scissors didn't work. I finally had to resort to using an exact blade and that's not a safe way to open a package. In my view, there's no reason or excuse for using this type of packaging for virtually any product, and especially not for a product that is specifically designed for easy use by people with limited hand strength. This plastic encasing is very annoying, potentially dangerous to those who have to somehow pry it open, and bad for the planet. And, indeed, there is no need for this frustrating plastic enclosure that's so hard to open. The right side of the picture shows how the toenail clipper from the same manufacturer was packaged. It came in a lightweight blue cardboard box that was so simple to open. Just lift the flap and remove it.I have no idea why the combo pack uses these two different methods of packaging. It's interesting that the heavier product, the toe nail clipper, came in the easy-to-open box.So, I am deducting a star because of the plastic encasing of the fingernail clipper. I hope the manufacturer will switch to using easy to open packaging for BOTH clippers. And it would probably cost less to use cardboard rather than plastic.(Amazon is asking me to do a separate rating of "thickness" for this product, but I don't understand what that means for these clippers so I am leaving that blank)

Pricey for the product
I like it and I will keep it but for the cost, I was surprised at how flimsy the plastic was on the handles. You have to press them very hard because they are not rigid. Many people who buy this will do so because of hand disability and in my case I felt that it could have been done with thicker handles that would cut them now more quickly without such a squeeze. I will keep it but I wouldn’t recommend it for that cost.

Bad choice for me.
This clipper is as hard to use as any other. (1) Much pressure is need to make a cut. Since my fingers aren’t strong enough to use any clipper with my left hand, I have to cradle it in my hand and use all my force to push. I thought this one would be easier, but it is not, I still have to use my whole hand and it is actually harder to do because of its bulk and the pressure needed. (2) The cutting part is hard to get on the nail because it appears to be too close to the handle and the opening is very narrow. (3) The swival feature is not helpful. I thought getting a better angle would make it easier to use with my left hand, but no it’s not. (4). I kept it thinking I would get used to it, but I kept grabbing my old “regular” one. I wish I would have sent it back right away for a refund. (I would not recommend.)

I really wanted to like these, but...
I tried to use these as directed, but couldn't quite get comfortable grabbing it with my fist. I switched to using my finger tips, but the handles are too slippery. They sat unused for over a year until I came across Dragon Grips here on Amazon. I bought a sheet of their hexagon shaped grip stickers. After cleaning the surfaces with rubbing alcohol and letting them dry, I put a row of the grips on each handle. Now I love these clippers!

Not as good as expected
Overrated, and hard to use. Opening is to small. Does not clip well, not sharp enough?

Trimming is an easy pleasure
I had the Omega Classic Fingernail Clipper and loved it - then one day I couldn't find it. I know it is in the house someplace, but it is is missing. I was not about to tear the place apart looking for it, I know it will show up eventually BUT, in the meantime I didn't want to go without this clipper, so I bought a second one. It is really just that good.
