The Batman Adventures: Mad Love

I'm a huge proponent of Harley Quinn comics and merchandise, and so is my boyfriend. I bought this for him alongside some other DC Comics memorabilia for his birthday and he absolutely ADORED it. This is a wonderful hardcover comic and it arrived in no less than amazing quality. The pages were sleek and high definition and there were no blemishes on the cover. I was a little worried that the manufacturer or the shipping company would damage the product, because you never want damaged memorabilia. But this came in excellent shape. I'll be buying more comics on Amazon.

Enjoy and study Bruce Timm's style and storytelling with 3 takes of the comic tale Batman mad love, final production with color, then see the tight thumbnails and notice the changes made to the final inks, then you have the color guides, this is great for comic pros and people that want to improve the craft, not a recommendation if you already have the book and don't care to see the behind the scenes design

Borrowed this from the library in my much more youthful days. Still my favorite till this day. Finally decided to look for a copy and own it myself. Could not be any more happier

I have to admit I thought Harley would be kind of a bad a** in this novel but to my surprise it gives the backstory of how she is like any other women.. she just happens to fall in love with a mad man and there is nothing that can stop her from doing anything for him. I love that this novel shows how Harley and joker meet and the attraction to him she has and how he keeps her hanging on even if its not much to hold on to she still holds and cherishes him. I fell in love with Harley story because I feel that despite what anyone may think or feel this "mad love" happens in everyday life. I would recommend this for any joker..batman..or Harley fan.

Didn't know that the comics came before the animation episode (five years earlier to be exact) but this is pretty much the same story shot for shot apart from the starting scene. A great work nevertheless.

This is the comic version of the "Mad Love" Batman the Animated Series episode. It is an excellent story, and there's a lot of extras here with regards to Harley's origin and the making of the comic itself.

Ce comic est cool et le vendeur aussi. J'aurai juste préféré le dessin de l'ancienne version je le trouve pas terrible celui-ci mais bon ca ne compte pas vu que je le savais. Donc rien à signaler l'encrage est ouf et le papier de qualité (je n'ai pas trop l'habitude de comics donc ce n'est pas l'avis non plus d'un expert mais le papier me semble verre glacé, il brille/flash, en tous cas la qualité papier est beaucoup mieux que celle utilisée sur Gotham Girls par exemple.)

Quest'edizione è sicuramente un piccolo gioiellino per chi è interessato all'analisi del lavoro che ha portato alla realizzazione di Mad Love. All'interno del volume, oltre che essere rappresentato il fumetto ricolorato di recente, sono presenti le tavole in bianco e nero fotocopiate dalle originali, con ancora le linee blu di matita ben visibili e alcuni appunti degli autori. La storia è godibilissima non solo per i fan del personaggio di Harley Quinn. Quest'opera presenta infatti una doppia chiave di lettura molto interessante, dal momento che Joker e la sua partner ragionano allo stesso modo, come asserisce Batman stesso. Si tratta quindi di una storia che narra le origini di Harley Quinn e che mostra le sue motivazioni. In particolare viene spiegata la sua ossessione per il Joker, e, in parallelo, l'ossessione che Joker ha per Batman. (per chi ha voglia di leggere fra le righe).Divertente, dinamica, colorata, con lo stile di disegno molto cartoon tipico di Bruce Timm esattamente come la prima serie di Batman TAS. Ottimo lavoro, Paul Dini!Il servizio è stato ottimo, il volume è arrivato in anticipo e intatto. ;)
