This zip tape works with the green zip board we used for the addition. The quality is fantastic and it was very easy to use. This tape is a great value for the money. It’s super sticky once installed and stays in place. It’s waterproof once installed and doesn’t stretch out. The only thing I would suggest is including the little tool to smooth out the tape when you buy a box.

I used this as ledger flashing around the band joist to build a deck around my house. Applying it is somewhat of a pain as the backer material sometimes tears away rather than peels off easily. You have to take care and time peeling the backer material off because of this. The material sticks very well so long as the surface is clean though.

I am building a 35'X45' x 12' one story garage. I found this 12roll package for a fraction of the cost of buying rolls independently. I asked and was told by inspector only zipsystem tape can be used to complete siding work. Everything I have read emphasized the need to follow tape installation instructions. After applying 12 rolls so far, I see why. Tape is EXTREMELY sticky, and after rolling it, makes of very good seal. An exceptional sheathing system, glad I went with it.

Works well for small flashing jobs. Sticks great to most surfaces.
