Ackerman PensSuper Sketch Classic Fountain Pen, use any ink, even India ink and drawing paints, slip nibs and feeds in out, large reservoir

Its much better to build pen for the Manga G nib than to Franken Pen it.This pen is a bit scratchy, but it makes incredible fine and wide lines.I've seen nothing that can make lines as whisper thin as this nib.

I am a huge fan of Ackerman Pens and keep them alongside my Noodlers for my drawing. I like the versatility of this pen as the nib offers varying line weight while still staying mostly stable. My only problem is that it catches on the surface when hatching using the pen side to side and when moving upwards to create lettering. There are is also a flow issue with India ink but I'm putting that down to the viscosity of the ink and that these pends aren't India ink specific pens.

As a fountain pen that allows you to carry a pen with an indelible ink, or at least use the ink without having to dip your pen into the bottle every other mark you make, this product comes up short. It leaks.Also, the nib that comes installed is not even cut down the middle!I tried replacing that nib with a manga nib, as they advertise, and no matter how I fitted the nib to the feed, it still would not work reliably.I read of artists who use this pen successfully and haven't complained, but this is not my first fountain pen. I've been sketching and drawing with fountain pens for years.

I've tried both india ink and fountain pen ink in this pen and neither of them flows well. flow is constantly stopping. waste of money.
