Cheap and light boulders
Other than the fact that these “rocks” are not resin printed, they are pla filament and have small layers, they are a great way to add boulders or other terrain to your gaming table. I used Vallejo black primer, a Drybrush of slate grey then slate grey cut with white, after that a brushing with Army Painter Speed Paints Holy White and a matte varnish. They were great looking on my table for a game set on the Moon.I definitely recommend them

Needs some work
It took many layers of filler primer to cover the printer lines.l!

Nicely details and ready to throw on your table, but take time to paint them
I admit that I was hesitant when I saw these. I so rarely buy items that aren't delivered by Amazon, but I figured for the price, and not having any games coming up, it was OK to wait. They are plastic (if that's a concern) and definitely resistant to drops (I've dropped each piece at least once). I painted them up this afternoon. I'm not the best painter, but I'm practicing. Someone in my house commented that they couldn't tell the rocks were 3D printed from a distance and only could when they got up close. In the pictures, you can see a couple of them have some easy to see spots, but I'm OK with that. There are some other signs, but you can easily work this into the painting scheme of the rocks AND there are rock structures in nature that show similar striations.Get some $.50 craft paints from your local superstore, a cheap brush, and paint away. I used a medium gray, light gray, and white. I could have drybrushed some more white, but it works for now. Not sure what drybrushing is? Check out Black Magic Craft on YouTube. That guy has some amazing videos. Are there better rocks out there? Sure. Can you make your own out of foam? Sure. Are these incredibly easy to use and will they add some easy grab and go scatter terrain for your battle mat? Absolutely. I can't wait to make some of my own, but these rocks are definitely a hit with me.I almost gave them 4 stars, and some might for the striations, but when I realized that it happens in nature, I rolled with it. Plus, they survived so many drops. That's worth the extra star.

Cheap and Reusable Terrain Elements, Great Buy!
They are cheap. They look like rocks and function like rocks. Your players can stand on them, walk around them, even attempt to jump over, or throw them. It’s up to you. They do just what you need them to do, sit rock like on your map, and they are cheap. What more could you ask for? If you want, you can paint them. (I’d recommend primer first.) If you don’t want to paint them, they come gray, so your still good to go.I might even get a second set for my Father-in-Law’s train setup, and gift them as is.

Good middle option
Great option if you want throw down scatter terrain and you don't have the time to craft your own rocks, or the money to spend on higher quality resin prints. The printer lines are visible.

Great value for your money; Perfect for arts/crafts/presentations
These are awesome for kiddos school arts & crafts/presentations! My son needed these for a diorama. And they worked perfect! They are plastic and it’s obvious that they are… but they are very durable and not flimsy. They’re solid all the way through. I’m sure they’d look good in a floral type of arrangement as well! If you’re in need for something like this, I highly recommend these. You will absolutely get your money’s worth!

Solide
