Studies show that early introduction of peanuts to children, starting around 6 months, prevents peanut allergies from developing. I know, we were lied to for so long! These are the treats they had used in the study. They are light and airy, kind of like a cheeto cheez puff. But with a mild peanut butter taste. The health benefits make the doctor in me happy, the ingredient list makes the mommy in me happy, and the taste makes my mouth happy.

I bought this because I read a study saying that Israeli babies have less incidence of peanut allergies, possibly due to the introduction of peanuts into their diet in infancy. My curiosity was piqued. I love peanut butter myself and had already given some to my baby on a few occasions, so I wasn't very worried about an allergic reaction.We both love this product. I have it on Subscribe & Save now - it's addictive. I've also given it to several of his little friends as a gift, and it's been a hit with them, too.It's like a cheese doodle, but with peanut butter instead of cheese.

Both of my kids (one is four now and the other is one) loved these items. My older one has "graduated" to peanut butter sandwiches, but my toddler loves them. Pretty good flavor (just my opinion, but I'm no PB expert) and arrived fresh.Bags are slightly different from the ones you'd normally see in stores, but the volume (three bags) + price make it a non-issue.

Great way to introduce your baby to peanuts early to avoid a possible allergy. We started our daughter at 5 months, but do what works for you. Caution too many at once get dry and can cause coughing, choking. We usually have a small bottle of water nearby if this happens. Also, I suspect they might be responsible for my daughter's diharrea, but again we probably over did them. Our daughter LOVES them. We eat them too. :)

When I bought these they were expensive but Amazon was the only place I knew to get them. I've since learned...Trader Joe's has the same thing for way less. Only in the bigger bag, but if you can get to one it's a better deal. Aldi also has a similar product but also isn't in a huge chunk of the country.Kids love it and even my doctor recommended exposing my kids to peanuts earlier for allergy reasons. However, the strawberry ones are gross. Little balls of bright red grossness. About them.
