Good Buy
Bought the beige, large Truform 30-40 mmHg Compression Stockings, Knee High Length and it is comfortable while doing what it needs to do. It does not feel tight, but it is. The open toes works well, when I wear open toe shoes with long pants, you can not tell am wearing compression socks. The large is a good size, am 5’7 1/2”, next will try the medium. Putting them on is tight as they are 30-40, you need to put them on slowly and pull them up as you go up the leg. Strong fabric, looks and feels durable. Worth the money.

Tight👍🏼
Nice compression. Good for the long 12 hrs on your feet. Definitely have to warm up to as they felt really tight during initial uses. They feel great now. Always a battle to put them on but worth the fight !

Great for Diabetic circulation
These are working fantastic. I am a diabetic and I have been struggling with my circulation. I have started working out and using these compression socks after my workouts to help with recovery and circulation. I only gave 4 stars because they seem a little bit small compared to others I have tried however they are supposed to fit tight obviously so It may just be me. The fabric is great, it soft, does not catch on toenails or dry skin and feels good on as well. They stay up pretty well to, I have had a little bit of rolling but I also like to sit on my foot/leg so having that leg tucked up underneath the other probably plays a factor in why they are rolling. Overall these are a great choice.

O.K. with open-toe sandals - HANDY OPTION for those who need it!
Reason for buying:I bought these as a gift for my Mother. Her cardiologist recommended she go UP from a 20-30 compression tothe next category. Her varicose veins give her a great deal of pain and in addition, compression stockings are a must for heron flights to avoid Deep Vein Thrombosis. Finally, she was told that she's got to wear compression stockings or socks every day and all day. This was upsetting for someone who lives in sandals and slides. I tell you - old age is not for the faint of heart! The thigh-high stockings didn't work well and the waist-high pantihose version even less so: occasional kidney problems make it imperative that whatever compression stockings she wears removes easily and quickly. I had to find compression stockings that could be worn with open-toed sandals and slides WITHOUT looking too obvious. What we found:She liked the look of them but COULD NOT get the stockings on her foot. Not the stocking's fault, of course. Despite the cardiologist's recommendation of a 30-40 compression, we're taking her back down to something more manageable; something she can actually slide onto her feet.Since I travel with compression socks, I requisitioned this pair and they felt fine. You've got to roll them on slowly and carefully and position the seam just right. I hated the aesthetics of these and had to remind myself that they weren't designed for beauty - merely utility. The toe area rode up a bit (I wore these with Clark's open-toe sandal) but a little adjusting helped. This will come in handy for summer trips by plane or when there's a long bout of summer walkabouts in humid weather. I really try not to use compression stockings too much for fear I'll get used to them and once you cross THAT Rubicon, it's a slippery slope.I will update the review again post-Summer.Thank you for taking time to read this review about a pedestrian (but useful) item. I hope it was helpful to you.

Beware of the seam that crosses over the toes
The "body" of the sock is just ok; there were loose threads and some dark fibers along the top seam. My issue is the seam that crosses the forefoot. It is very narrow and it doesn't lie flat. The seam is super tight and created a tourniquet effect that was painful and cut off my circulation. Today was the first time I tried them. I had to stop in the middle of a yoga class to take them off. I have been wearing compression hose for years and I am a registered nurse, so I know a good sock from a bad one. These were completely unsatisfactory. I did write to the company. They were prompt to reply but not interested in my feedback at all.
