MaresEssence Liquidskin Lightweight Foldable Single Lens Scuba Diving Mask with Silicone Face Piece

I’ve done extensive research prior to my Moorea trip. Ended up going for this mask after comparing reviews. First mask I’ve had that I really love and have zero issues with. I had to scrub it with baby soap a couple of times so it doesn’t fog up. Now just use a bit of baby soap before getting in the water. It’s just great. It hasn’t leaked once. Sits perfectly and doesn’t hurt my face a bit. Visibility is great. No clearing needed thus far. In the past I have struggled a lot with various masks. They leaked, fogged up and hurt my face. Glad I listened to the reviews. Haven’t tried dicing with it yet, but having experienced perfect snorkeling with it says it all.

I bought this mask to replace my first Scuba mask. This mask seals excellent and feels extremely comfortable. The full lens provides an unobstructed view. The liquid-skin technology does make a difference with the seal and the comfort. One note... if you have a large nose or a high bridge, I would check out some of Mares other masks. You will probably need to get one of Mares' split lens masks that accommodate for larger noses.

This mask was purchased for my husband it was way too small for him. 👎 My daughters mask broke on our trip and she used this mask. It worked great for my 9 year old!

This is a great, high quality mask. Typically sells for $95 in the scuba shop. Bought it here for $25 less! Hard to beat that! Before I purchased this mask I went to my local dive shop and tried it on. This is extremely important! The fit of a mask cannot be anticipated or assumed! Here's how: Flip the strap around to the front of the mask as you will not need it to do this. Clear your hair from the area where the mask is going. Gently press the mask to your face and very gently inhale slightly to attempt to keep the mask in place. If it falls right off, it does not fit! If it doesn't immediately fall off, but you have to keep inhaling to keep it in place, it does not fit! If it feels like it will stay there comfortably with little to no effort, that's your mask! My mask won't fit you and your's won't fit me. That's life.I plan to have prescription applique lenses added to my mask. This is not cheap! Get good ones as you'll use them for years. I've used my old ones for fourteen years. The new ones will cost $230 so my mask gets very expensive in the end. I highly recommend you send your mask to Dolphin Scuba Center in Sacramento, CA to get prescriptions added. I've spent hours on the internet and phone unsuccessfully trying to find someone who'll do it for less.Lastly, when you travel, always put your mask (especially if you have prescription lenses) in your carry-on. You don't want it taking a walk before you arrive. Lose your luggage or your mask and you either rent one that doesn't fit well or, even worse, doesn't have your prescription in it. Of course, there always are contact lenses.

This mask is perfect, no reflective glare, no leaking. For years I have searched for the perfect mask…I found it!Worth the money, a good value for a quality mask. Very light weight, good fit, has not leaked once!!

I was sold on the LiquidSkin technology on the internet. This mask came in and after I tried it on, I wasn't as impressed. I'm aware that all faces are created different. The mask works good, but for the $$ I expected more. My wife has a Mares Liquid Skin mask that feels better to me. The nose piece presses on the bridge of my nose and mask fogs bad even after no-fog was applied. This mask will be a back-up as soon as I find one I like better.

Great mask, fits perfectly, the liquid skin material is so soft, this is a must have. Quality top tier!
