No matter where you go, this and an American extension cord will give you U.S. standard (110V 60 Cycle) electrical power all over your hotel room. It will fit any electrical power outlet I can think of, including all European styles, U.K. style, and Australian style. Be aware that this unit actually converts the electrical power to U.S. standard, as contrasted to adapters that merely make one plug fit into a different style socket but don't change the power itself. Also be aware that it will handle 250 watts max, so you won't want to be using hair dryers or other heating element devices, but then most hotel rooms provide those hard-wired to the wall.

Unfortunately, our admitted too much background noise and had to be returned but I found it to be the best charger on the market. The adapters fit where we were it handled not only for plug-in USB cables, but also had four regular plugs for AC devices. I’m sure replacement would be fine but we don’t need it. I would highly recommend it.

We bought this particular power converter for a CPAP and to charge phones. It worked well for what we wanted. However we had a noise issue with the device and had to reach out to customer support. Janice responded promptly and resolved the issue. She even followed up after resolution to make sure everything was good. I would buy this brand again.

I purchased 2 of these. 1 for my daughter who is spending a semester in Wales. The 2nd for myself when I went to visit her a couple of weeks after she started her semester. Before I even left, she told me that her laptop couldn't charge anymore. It turns out the unit could keep up with her laptop, but her laptop charger could handle the 240 VAC, so she plugged her laptop in without the power strip and could charge her battery again. I took the 2nd one with me and it seem to work just fine...until 2 days later. Then I had the same problem. The USB ports worked, just not the 120 VAC US plugs. Save your money and just by a $4 adapter and let your laptop convert the 240 VAC.

this product worked as advertised. it is light weight, has 3 outlets and 4 USB connections. Be advised that my wife's flat iron hair did fry after 2-3 uses.I do recommend it for travel to Europe.

I used this during a recent trip to Argentina. My mom and sister both bought adapters and converters but this is the only one that worked! There were times when we had to stack a couple of adapters on top of one another to plug it in but the converter still worked as expected. It didn't work with hair dryers but it did power a straightener (mostly). We were able to plug several devices at once without an issue. It seemed best for phones and devices. Be aware that there is a fan that turns on periodically that is a bit noisy if you are trying to sleep with it on. Also, the power button is on the side. This seems obvious but it is worth pointing out for people who haven't used it yet.

Needing a step down power source for American electronics overseas when host power is 220 to 240 definitely makes this power adapter a must.Worked flawlessly and the build quality is solid. Highly recommend this product. Worked great for yours truly when I travelled to The Philippines.
